Small Update;

I didn't want to use braided rubber AN line for the rear oil-return as I was worried it would melt with the heat. Therefore I am using AN10 hard line & tube nuts, which will feed into a small section of braided hose lower down(away from the heat), to allow a bit of flex.

Pics of the line I bent up, and a comparison of a normal AN10 fitting to a Tube-nut flare fitting.

How much power are you aiming for? That single 044 wont do much more than 600bhp. I would consider a Walbro 450. My friend dynoed 700bhp on E85 with a single Walbro which would be the same as 1000bhp on regular fuel.

Are you sure? I'm not running ethanol at all btw. People in the UK have managed 750-800 hp before on a single 044 with a true -8 feed line, splitting to 2x -6 at the rail, with a -6 return.

Turbo's are rated to 780 at this a/r, so aiming for 700. Worst case i'll max this out and add another 044 if it needs more.

I think Krister is talking real hp (to the wheels). A local maxxed out his bosch at a little more, ~630 rwhp on pump 97ron.

Awesome build btw, love those twins :)

Nice work did you upgrade the wiring top side from the connector to your relay ?

Not yet, I've got to look at the best way of doing that... Unpicking all the loom and upgrading the wires or potentially just adding in a new feed and earth, and sneaking them into the relay and hanger plugs where necessary.
