Been there done black! Too much cleaning :D

 

Windscreen guy booked for saturday to remove rear 1/4's, front and rear screens!

 

Is there anything else you need me to bring up this weekend? I've got most of the prep stuff already in the car. Drop me a text if you can think of anything else we need.

Great to see you making real progress with this build.

 

I would have thought that the reason why it has flanges instead of a weld is to prevent cracking.

 

The flanges may well suck up any imbalance better well be more resistant, a weld will crack I would of thought.

 

Like you say nightmare to get too, if it does develop a crack.

Thing is, there's still a flange welded on that end. So same number of welds on the manifold itself.
