Well I haven't been updating an awful lot recently (since buying the wing really!) as my clutch has gone.

Bought an HKS LA twin plate today though, so will get that fitted soon and can start enjoying the car again soon. :)

I have some plans for this coming year that I'll need to start weighing up :)

Seen that!

I think I need to see this wing in person but from pics I'm still in the no camp

The stock wing is definitely nicer, there is no doubt about that :) At least they are interchangeable

It does look good though I think! But that isn't what the purpose of it is :D

Well, after hanging fire over the winter period, the car is finally in getting the clutch done just now. :)

I had a phonecall from the garage to say they were having trouble getting it onto their ramps due to being too low, but we'll get by that I'm sure.

Next thing I need to do is clean up the wheels again as they'll need some TLC.

Here are a couple of pics to remind everyone what it looks like haha :D

looks great james, didnt realised you got a BGW :)

It'll look better with the wheels cleaned up again for sure :) I'm going to get it detailed as well to bring the paint up a bit as the spraying on the arches following the rolling/flaring isn't looking very good. It looks more grey than black. Hopefully it comes up well, otherwise I'm going to need to get the car sprayed.

Gave the car a good clean the other day as the weather has been nice:

With the paintwork being clean it really hit home just how mucky the CCWs were, so they are off for now so that I can give them a proper polish up. Got some stock 17s from Drift_Bear in the meantime while I get the Classics back to their best. I do quite like the black on there right enough... :)

Those poor CCW's!!! I think you really need them finished in something other than polished dude. I don't really find them that difficult to look after tbh. A couple of hours every few months. Do you drive the car all through winter?

Come on mate .... a bit of sweating for the Supra is OK :D

Clutch change is in progress just now. Had to take the front end off as had some issues getting onto the flatbed (I quite like my HKS Kansai splitter and don't particularly want it in 2 or more pieces :))

The HKS twin plate that was fitted is fairly gone :D

Though, curiously, the release bearing hub and the bearing itself were an entirely different size to the stock release bearing which I bought for fitting with the new HKS LA clutch. Due to the hub being a weird size, it has held up completion of the job. New one will be with me tomorrow and then we can get the gearbox back in.

I'm changing the rear crank seal in the meantime as well while the gearbox is out. It has a slight weep so it is as good a time as any

I ended up buying the stock 17s from Alex as he doesn't need them for his taxi (:p). The Mickey Thompsons on the rears are a welcome inclusion to the mix too. I'll get some use out of them I'm sure :)

Should be good to go again in no time. With the new flywheel being so much lighter than that which came out, I'm curious to see if I'll notice any difference in how it revs.

Well Toyota came through and the parts arrived at 9.30 this morning.

I might have a fully working Supra again soon :D

That means I'll need to buy new bits :sly: One of the things on the cards is definitely a new exhaust as I find the Blitz to be a bit too quiet. It must be the RX rather than the R as it is pretty tame compared to the RSR I had on my previous Supra. I'm thinking perhaps a Whifbitz 4" Ti. :)

That would be perfect for your set up, will give it a really nice sound mate

Thw WB 4" Ti is certainly not quite. My neighbours love mine. :p :D

4" Ti gets my vote

Will be good to see it back in one piece dude. I'm sure I've got a flyby vid of it somewhere from SCS last year that I'll need to upload :D

 Yeah, it would be something like that or a Boost Logic I think. The RSR I had on my NA-TT 5 speed sounded great, with this Blitz exhaust lacking quite a bit. :)

Steven - yeah get that uploaded :D

The clutch bedding in is going nicely. It feels great so far. Nice and quiet compared to the previous HKS GD Twin that was in before as well. No complaints on that front.

However I seem to have another little issue at the moment - when I go WOT the car just completely drops off (as if I am not on the throttle at all). My first suspicion is the throttle position sensor, though I may be wrong. I don't know whether it'd be easier just to change the intake and throttle setup entirely or just find another sensor for now. :)

I've been cleaning the CCWs up with Autosol and the results are great. They'll stay in great shape if I do this more frequently. It isn't too bad to keep them clean, I just haven't stayed on top of it at all.

I ordered the Mothers Powerball, Powerball Mini and Powercone so that should aid in cleaning up the other 3, as that first one took a little while (particularly between the spokes).
