Plate is staying put :)

I'm delighted with the wheels and the paintwork/bodywork. All the little touches I always wanted done have now been completed.

What to do under the bonnet is the next thing. Also some bigger brakes. Perhaps a Top Secret bonnet too. The list never ends. :D

Lovely car James.

Thanks mate :)

Looks really nice, bet it looks great in the sun. Loving the front lip.

Thanks - it's just a shame there isn't enough sun up here haha! I adore the lip, I'm surprised so few have it. Unfortunately APR stopped doing it though, so I'm trying to find another just in case the worst was to happen.

Continually playing about with the ride height - I've raised the front another 4mm to avoid catching the arch with my tyre:

I think I may reduce the front R888 from 245/40/18 to 235/40/18 to give a little more breathing room as well. I'm also looking into changing the front brakes so I can get rid of the 3mm slip-on spacer. In tandem, it'll do me a world of good.

Also picked up a 4" downpipe and midpipe, so I'll get that fitted as soon as it arrives and help with spool a little. Still got my eye on a Syvecs (well, another, that may actually get fitted, just like the 264s... ) and something like a 6266 eventually, but need to recoup a little after the paint and wheels before I do that. :)

Thanks folks - I'm very happy with it!

A friend of mine has a Chaser which had some Work S1s on it. The front pair of them were sitting in my garage, so I decided to chuck them on the rear for a laugh to see how they sit:

(There are another 2 images but they have rotated for some reason, so I've attached them but not linked them!)

At 18x9.5 ET -3, they are a bit aggressive for me! It's a little 225/40/18 on there too, so no use for the Supra anyway!

His rears are 18x11.5 ET -3, so I haven't even bothered trying them, as they'll poke 40mm more than my CCWs :D

My new 4" downpipe and midpipe arrived today as well, so I'll need to get that fitted too

Well, 2000 miles after installing it, the HKS LA Twin clutch is knackered. Oil contamination from the rear crank seal is evident on the flywheel. All positions where the oil has splayed out matches up with hot spots on the pressure plate as well. The friction plates are fairly worn as well.

Decided to replace the rear crank seal and have ordered an RPS Carbon Carbon triple plate clutch assembly this time round. A bit overkill for my current setup maybe, but gives me a bit of future-proofing.

Going to sort a flange for the downpipe this week as well and get the full 4" fitted. :)
