Okay no worries, the only reason I ask is because I sold my NA-TT to a bloke from Blackburn and only once he was going to pay did he tell me that he was a trader and the description Dunk kindly gave of the Dodgy track suit wearing Asians was bob on. I will dig out his company name when I get home.

This made me laugh and taken from the thread on DW.

It's cos Paul brown cars are actually run by two dodgy Asian guys! My friend bought a black 34 GTT off them/Paul brown cars, and they were dodgy as hell, trackies and doing deals in side streets, unlike the lovely garage they pretend to advertise from!

I wonder if it was the same dodgy sidestreet I got my old NA from? It was opposite a tiny car park, with room for one car behind the gate. Had to go up some steel steps to get to the "office", and it had a very small service bay underneath the office.

Sound similar to anyone who has bought from/been to see a car at Paul Brown/Boyz Toyz/Platinum Autos? Or any other name for that matter?

The plot thickens on this further, Awaiting comment from the higher powers on here.

I am currently sat getting drunk with two moderators I am sure they'll deal with it in the morning..!!

I want to see these men banned ASAP. The whole situation, especially the banner that used to be on here was a joke.

On many a thread I have stated that there must be connections between the companies as one new Supra specialist arrives, the other disappears. There is also the issue that photographs of cars have been taken against the same fencing in the back ground on adverts for both BT and PBC. The font in the number plates showing the company name was also in exactly the same font.

Didn't take a genius did it?

I agree H that fence is quite famous now considering it has been in more pictures than Hollywood stars combined.

I read a lot of threads on who 'these' people potentially are but due to forum rules I don't mention it so this thread has always been on interest to a lot of people and myself but as you say it will be the moderators decision and comment that I am waiting for whenever it comes.

Hope you guys have a good night anyway and have a few beers for me......... And a bottle of JD........ maybe some rum too.. I will stop now as this could go on for awhile.

At the end of the day they have done what any unscrupulous business person would do. They specialise is Supras, they had an awful reputation on the forum, so why not re-invent yourself as a new legitimate business?

They had always needed this forum as a supply line to their business and the legal threats etc were because the words spread about them fast. Coming in as a fresh supplier with a strangely large collection of cars would enable them to continue. They have done quite well to be fair as they have kept a cetain amount of doubt in the equation even though there were links.

BAN please...!!

I imagine "John Smith Cars" will be all over Pistonheads in a couple of weeks.

I am currently sat getting drunk with a nice bottle of Cote de Rhone after an afternoon's drinking followed by garlic and rosemary potatoes, a rare steak and green beans. I am sure the Anadin Extra will deal with the headache in the morning..!!

A couple of years ago me and my mate Rich (Richlift on here) went to see a car they had for sale, it was a tiptronic tt with a full Trial kit, it was so low on the floor that it scraped as we went along, when it went on boost it had smoke from the exhaust, the lad selling it, dodgy Asian lad in a tracksuit and thin stubble/beard thing said it was normal and that the suspension had been set up for the track, I checked, the front springs had both snapped so we left there and then.
