Personally think this guy has overstayed his welcome here. I wouldn't even wish him good luck as I think the guy and his chums are a fraud.

Like said earlier, no smoke without fire.

As for the dodgy Asian comment, I was very close to using it myself cause that's exactly the impression I got from the posts.

Imi

The Asian comments have tarnished the content of this "WitchHunt" but unfortunately it would appear that the gentlemen in question are charachterisable as described. I hate to point it out though but there are plenty of "dodgy" Asians just as there are plenty of "dodgy" Caucasians Par Example David Cameron!!!!

People get a feeling for how they are being treated, if on a whole they feel like they are being ignored, or not paid attention to they will move their buying power elsewhere. You can make some money from limited service but cheap. If you really want to make proper money you need to provide amazing service with good products. Dodgy assed supra's and other imports is sooo not IT these days. Specialist imports hold money, the next round of GTRs holds money. 4x4'S have a market but in reality older assed japside supra's have had their day a long time ago.

A little more digging hasn't turned up a lot, other than Paul Brown Cars incorporation date was 5 days before Bargain cars direct was dissolved. Bargain cars direct and Boyz toyz are the same firm, as this screen grab will confirm:

(look at the contact email address)

Also, the Business address for Paul Brown cars is 33 miles away from High Wycombe. Again, make of that what you will, but it seems odd given the circumstances.

All information freely available from Companies House.

Ok the bank statement incident is plain simple to explain. Was gonna leave the easy bit to the last but you guys seem to be getting very impatient

We had to buy a car from comapny X.

We have the funds coming in from the customer who is buying a car from us that day. So rather than have that customer pay us on our PDQ and then we wait 5 days for it to clear (as it was a Saturday morning he paid). Take the cash out (and be lumped with a £200 fee to withdraw the cash) to pay company X. Did you pass this £200 saving onto the customer? If not why not?

Why not use their wireless PDQ to pay them direct???? Put us in a better position as we have the new stock asap and have it sold asap. Helps company X out too as they wont be lumped with 2% charge when paying cash into their bank. Again was this 2% saving passed onto the customer?

Doesnt affect the customer buying of us as the contract was between us (PBC) and the customer, How we direct the payment (most cost efficient way) is upto us. wrong

Im suprised you intelligent guys couldn't work this possiblilty out for yourselves??? maybe because it is an offence to pass a customers personal and financial information onto a third party without their knowledge or consent and no reputable trader would do this

Or were you too busy asain bashing??

Hey???

Not only is it an offence under the data protection act to share this customers information with BCD you also did this for the sole reason to profit further. Your customers are not there to 'help out' other dealers. They provide their card details to you and expect them to be kept secure not passed around like a new born in a mothercare shop.

To make the effort to come on and defend yourself is to be commended. From the responses given I can't quite work out whether you are naive, incompetent or dishonest.

Trading as a dissolved company is illegal and can have serious consequences. If reported to the authorities you will be in trouble.

I would take time to read the link I posted, here it is again http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/reports/676408/oft1241.pdf

This explains how you should treat your customers and the rights that they have (and the rights you have as well)

A free piece of advice. Many people think they are in business to make money, you are actually in business to provide a service. If you do this well then making money will follow.

Personally I think the duffer(s) thinks he can outsmart you all and continue to string you lot on longer.....nothing commendable about it in my opinion.

You seem to have the average IQ as rest of the fanbois

Okay as i was about to buy my Supra i contacted Paul Brown Cars regarding one of there cars advertised on Pistonhead and other various sites. is said nothing about the car beeing sold and as i was genuinly intrested in the car i started off with emailing. Did not recive any reply and after 3-4 days i Phoned and on the other end there was a verry typical car salesman.. When i said what car i was intrested in you said it had been sold weeks before. i said Okay strange i saw the add same day on pistonheads and it did not say sold or anything. Said i was intrested in another car and same thing about that one.. it was sold aswell.. however you had other cars that where suposed to be MINT and PRESTINE and what not.

i got the impression you where dodgy searched around here and found a thread where people where not allowed to comment about you or you would sue them... so i thought this dont sound right and walked away. a mate of mine did too..

you lost 2 potential buyers with cash at hand due to the dodgness...

also i just feel that its VERRY rare that "no smoke without fire" is totally wrong..

Being an Asian (not too dodgy) my Asian-sense (bit like spider sense yet more aromatic) is going wild every time I see Paul Brown responding to this thread.

On a serious note, if you guys are trading in such vast numbers then you must be VAT registered, could you supply a MOD with your VAT number, and we can see who's name pops up, I'm gonna bet its not a Mr Paul Brown

He's certainly one of them :)

Have a read through his post history if you have any doubt :)

Ages ago when I was off with my knee I spent ages on here reading about things and I recall Branners saying how he "only tolerates his being here"

To be honest he used the slander comments when the subject was Boyzstoys or bargain cars direct too...... Seeing as it all seems to be the same lot we may as well just recycle the old comments/jokes anyway IMHO.

I have not posted on the thread, due to the fact I don't have any actual experience with Paul Brown, so I don't have anything factual to add, so just my thoughts

Amazing how you find the need to jump to the defence of a trader after not posting anything for so long, seems to be a major part of your history on the forum, jumping in with anything to do with High Wycombe traders or to slag off others

As for Paul Brown, shame you couldn't just answer the questions and allegations without lots of time to work out your answers, none of the question should of been difficult or time consuming to answer if you hadn't needed to work out a way to answer

Very odd if your answers are truthful that you have not just posted immediately, you seem to have the time to shoot down posts with stupid Racist claims or noob responses etc, but not the time to answer the queries regarding the business

Whatever the outcome, I think it is fair to say you have not come across very well, in the way you have delayed answers or just flat dodged answering

As Paul Brown cars have never been a trader on here, and the most they had was a banner advert then I'm going to have to stop this thread.

There appears to be some sort of connection between Paul Brown cars and the other trader, but as nobody can actually provide proof that they are the same company run by the same person then this thread is getting towards being out of control.

If somebody can show me that the owner of Paul Brown cars is the same as the other trader then I will allow that proof to be posted. But as they arent a trader or even have a banner advert then I dont quite know what people expect from this thread.

Closing the thread
