Exhaust manifold finally fitted.

Had issues fitting this due to the flutes hitting the studding.

The way I got round it was to shorten the lower studs, remove all the top studding from the head, slot the lower manifold bolt holes, put the nuts on a little way and then slide the manifold down onto the studding. Then I put the top studding in and tightened all the bolts up.

Tried my old T4 turbo blanket for size. It fit around it but was nowhere near long enough.

Great work as as usual John, that turbo's a monster ;)

This is just crazy! Im in ore of that engine mate its just complete perfection.

Thanks guys.

Wastegate lines to be made up tomorrow.

I've hit a small issue with the top water elbow. Basically I've bought a virtual works top water elbow for a T6 setup but to get it to fit the cam wheel backing plate needs a section cut out of it, which I'm not really prepared to do. I'll need to look into other options or try and make 1 myself.

Looking awesome John

When are you expecting to have it running?

Not in a rush Marc, just whenever it's ready. Just want it in the car ASAP.
