  1. A video would help. Other than that, as has been said I'd be wondering about clutch release bearing, possibly check the crank pulley, aux belt tensioner is another one known to need replacing as these cars get older.
  2. Have you got a boost controller fitted? That would be the first suggestion. Secondly, has it still got the stock turbos? If so, you don't want to push them over 1.2bar otherwise you will blow them after a short while. Perhaps an aftermarket ecu would also solve the problem. Also, with the change of exhaust, it may be too free flowing and require a restrictor ring to help limit the boost and stop it spiking.

    Bikes?

I don't have a bike (yet) but a lot of people I know have had 1000's and most have said on the road you can't really use the power, and that a 600on twisties is much more fun. Personally I'd never get a bike bigger than a 600 for a sports bike. I've been looking at Harleys lately, which are not as expensive as I thought they would be.
  4. Just PlastiDip them mate if it's a temp thing.
  5. Block in the line? Split in a brake hose? Master cylinder?
  6. Battery is fine. It starts, just dies. Plus I tried a spare charged battery before I got it recovered to no avail. So, where and when can I collect this left nipple - - - Updated - - - It's a manual....I have no red button
  7. Save some money and do the prep work yourself. If you base prime it too then you could probably half that quote.
  8. Cheers guys. Hopefully I'll have time to investigate at the weekend.
  9. Custom job as far as I'm aware. In my opinion, it ruins a Supras look.
  10. I paid £250 for bumper, trd spoiler and bonnet. I did the prep and primer myself though.
  11. Don't forget these cars were designed 20+ years ago.
  12. Spraying a bonnet should cost no more than £100, can't see you getting a bonnet for less than that.
  13. Nope. Replaced those last year.
  14. 1993 NA-TT Manual The supra died on me today Was driving normally and all of a sudden it went really lumpy and cut out. If I start it it idles very rough for about 5 seconds and dies again. I've checked the oil and it is pretty low but can't find any leaks. The oil lights (level and pressure) did not come on. I'm going to fill the oil up and see if that solves the problem. I'll also try and get a video up at some point soon. Anyone have any ideas? I have a horrible feeling something internal engine wise has given up If it turns out that that is the case, then it will be broken, as I can't afford a repair like that right now List of possibilities I have: Map sensor hose - Checked looks fine Ignition related (injectors?/plugs?/coil pack clips?/coil packs?) Fuelling (pump?/blocked lines?/filter?) ECU

    SUPRA 5 Speed

Depends what 5 speed box it is. If it's an R154 then go for it. If it's a W58 and you plan to go for more power than BPU (400 ish) then you would need to either convert to R154 or a 6 speed box.
  16. I have an SJ4000 from eBay. £70 including mounts, and they work with GoPro mounts too. 1080p video but I'd recommend buying proper GoPro mounts for it as the mounts that come with it aren't very good (squeaks etc). Don't think it has the external microphone feature though. Also has an LED back screen built in.
  17. Like the email notification you get when you get a PM. (If you have selected that option)
  18. Nope not CWest I have CWest skirts on mine. Not sure what they are but they're nice.
  19. I recently got a Diamondback Response for about £350 in the Argos sale. The bike retails at about £5000. Hardtail, with lockable front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, 18" frame. I use it to get to work every day and can't fault it for what I use it for. Worth shopping around to get a good deal. The offer is still on at Argos too.
  20. Um it seems a tighter knit but that's about the only difference afaik.
  21. I get 350 to a tank in my NA-TT 5 speed. I think I'm going to replace my o2 sensors and see what happens.
  22. Just buy a big roll of audio carpet from ebay. I had loads left over after doing my install (enough to almost fill the garage floor) and it serves its purpose. It's black so doesn't show dirt, it's grippy on the underside and comfy enough to work on.

    Help with parts

This. It's all laid out in the T&Cs you agreed to when joining the forum. To become a member go to the New Members section. Details of how to become a paid member can be found there.
  24. The Maharajah (I think it's called. It's near Pizza Express) Indian restuarant is great. Overlooks the sea too. EBO Adventure do all sorts from surf, to cimbing, coasteering, mountain biking, kayaking etc. I freelance for them from time to time (I am this sunday coming actually) and they are a great company. They are based in Penhale. In Newquay itself there isn't much to do bar rent a board and go for a surf.
