  1. 1. Slam 2. Kar 3. Al Massey 4. Supragal 5. Listy (+1)
  2. I've messaged via the Fb page Rog, just waiting on a reply.
  3. I wouldn't bother. The TT auto box is stronger than a W58. I you want to go manual, save for a 6 speed. Or worst case, an R154 conversion.
  4. Prices are on the up. I'd say have a figure in mind of what YOU would be happy to get for it, and chuck an extra grand on top. That way, you have haggling room, and may get more than you expect.
  5. Have you thought about tinting spray for the rings? Should deaden the colour down nicely without too much of an adverse effect on the light output. I keep meaning to do a "toxic style" conversion on my fronts, and a set of rears (I have two sets waiting in the garage) but just haven't gotten around to it.

    japfest 2015

There was no stand this year due to an unfortunate circumstance with the organisers. All of the club stand space was filled a couple of weeks before the deadline. We had decided to sort the club stand out a week prior to the deadline, but it turned out that it just wasn't early enough. As much as we tried to gain a space, they just couldn't fit us in. Next year I'm sure we'll be one of the first clubs on the list.
  7. Wow. Massive props to Lee and the team at SRD for building you what appears to be a fortress of a car. Glad to hear you are both on the way to recovery and can't wait to see you're next project thread
  8. This. The only skyline I would consider is a R34 GTR VSpecII

    Suspension

I have BC coilovers on mine. Can't fault them. However, I've not experienced either of the others so can't give a comparison.
  10. White or Black for me. If I ever sell mine (which is white) a TT6 in black or white is my only option.
  11. I vote rad cap as the first thing to check.
  12. I knew you'd be back one way or another
  13. Can't remember if I put it in this thread but I am now back in the SW on a permanent basis
  14. Please make sure you follow the rules for group buys if you decide to follow this up. These can be found in the club membership section.
  15. So it's the same as a uk car? To be fair, when I swap cars, I usually hit the wipers when I want to indicate at the first junction I come to
  16. It could be as simple as they don't realise how wide it really is, and don't like driving it. Or the fact that to reach its potential it still needs a couple grand chucked into it.
  17. It was a rush job. I only gave him 10 days to get it all done, around all his other work. His staff had to work overtime to get it finished in time, so that's why it cost me what it did, I had to effectively pay his guys their overtime wage.
  18. I paid £2500 for mine a few years ago. That was glass in, with the engine bay and boot shuts staying the old colour (my preference) and by someone I know and get discount because I send them a lot of jobs. For £2k I'd expect no more than a rub down and respray. Personally I'd want a all imperfections removed before the spray, which would probably bump the cost up.

    What's it worth

There's more to it Dean unfortunately. Hopefully start of next month I'll know whether I can keep it or not.

    What's it worth

Trust me mate if I can find a way to keep her, I will. The wife doesn't want to sell it so at least that's good
  21. Well, here it is. As much as it pains me, I may have to sell the Supra to free up some funds, so what do we think she is worth? 1993 (K) NA-TT 5 speed manual (W58) MOT March 2016 Exterior Painted in Audi Ibis White in April 2013 DoLuck (replica) front bumper CWest side skirts Border front wings (very rare, as far as I know this is the only supra in the uk to have them) Trial rear bumper TRD (replica) rear wing Wolfrace Shark 18" alloys (8.5J front, 9.5J rear) Ganador mirrors Tinted rear and rear quarter windows Facelift Tinted rear lights Facelift front lights UK front brakes Goodridge braided brake lines all round Smoothed aeriel and rear wiper BC Racing coilovers Interior Dash repainted in white Red instrument colour conversion White leather armrests Black gear shift gaiter with white stitching Handbrake cover to match the above White and ali handbrake handle Prosport boost gauge (red) in clock position ICE Sony single din stereo 2 x 10" Fli subs in custom made boot floor (only one is currently hooked up) Sony 550w amp (hense only one sub plugged in) Fli speaker all round (front and rear) Engine Transplant done by Keron way back when W58 gearbox replaced June last year Crank pulley replaced with new summer 2012 Aluminium radiator FMIC New rear crank seal, front crank seal, idler pulley when gearbox was replaced (some other bits too but I can't remember off the top of my head) 2.5" exhaust with 3" double decat and restrictor ring Running stock boost to save the gearbox (all it needs for full BPU is boost controller and FCD) History I don't have much paperwork as the previous owner never sent it on as promised, and all servicing has been done by myself in my ownership. It has had regular oil changes every 6 months or 3000 miles whichever comes first. I have receipts for work done at Whifbitz SW (gearbox etc) Bad points VSS need doing soon Slight curbing on two wheels Front bumper needs a crack repaired and a respray Small rust spot on boot lid Front tyres need replacing soon Rear window tint could do with being redone I think that is about it. I'm sure all of you are aware how much it pains me to write this, but if there is a way I can avoid selling, I will. So, how much are we thinking? I have a figure in mind of what I want to sell her for, but also a more realistic one of what I actually could sell her for, so don't be afraid to be brutally honest. Pics in my project thread in my sig.
  22. Already had my CRB check (or whatever they call it these days) as I had it done because I knew it would need to be done.
  23. Aaaaaaand got an email today offering me a position. I don't know what this whole "it's hard to find a job" people go on about when leaving the forces, that was stupidly easy
  24. It's working with kids at an adventure centre, so climbing, abseiling, kayaking, trim trails, team building, sports etc
  25. It went really well guys. I'm really keen to work there and they seemed more interested in me than the other two candidates. Bearing in mind one turned up late, and we were told "bring something to run in" as we were taken to a point on the cliff where you can see where all the activities take place. The other two didn't bring suitable attire, whereas I had running trainers and shorts etc with me. I think it was a "gauging fitness" thing too, but on the sly I was happily jogging with the guy and the other two candidates were lagging well behind, and walking at times. Over all, and without seeming tod be big headed, from what I saw, I know who I'd employ, and it isn't them. They were both really quiet, didn't ask questions, one is fresh from college and the other isn't sure he wants it anyway. The interviewer also took my sizes for uniform, but not the other two, so may well be a sign
