  1. Happened on mine. Cleared the rain channels and it's much better, but some still gets in.
  2. UK 6 speed single tubby here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?326027-Blue-UK-Spec-6-Speed-Single
  3. If you can get hold of a EU/US spec passenger side seat rail for it, then yes.
  4. I have edited your post slightly. To advertise a business on the forum you need to be an authorised Trader.
  5. I would sell my left nut to buy this, but she wouldn't fit in the garage lol If I win the lottery next week, I'll be in touch

    I'm back!

I would ask which one you bought, but you've plastered it all over facebook lol
  7. Think I'll leave it then. Cheers for the input guys. I've found a 3 series BMW I'm going to look at on Wednesday now.
  8. Looking for a new daily and I've come across this MG ZS. 2002 1.8 11 months MOT Service history HG replaced (I know they are prone to failure so this is a big plus) £675 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201508045769666?onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&radius=20&channel=cars&postcode=ex85bt&price-to=1500&seller-type=private_adverts&page=2&search-target=usedcars&sort=locasc&logcode=p Opinions? Potentially going to have a look in the next few days.
  9. Can anyone recommend me somewhere (or someone who does them on here) to get custom stickers made? I'm getting a new surfboard and want to have my old army cap badges put under the top coat.
  10. I don't see the point in getting a rear wing that involves drilling new holes in the bootlid when ones are available that use the stock mounting holes. What if you had a change of heart later down the line? You'd have to fill in the new holes.
  11. No FCD fitted. I have no time left today so after work tomorrow I'll pull the plugs.
  12. MAP sensor looks fine. All hoses etc where they should be. That can be crossed off the list.
  13. I'll check the map sensor later after the football
  14. I'm not that silly David I put another battery in and pulled the (lack of) error codes. I can't run it to process error codes as it doesn't run. At a bit of crossroads right now. I have had a thought though.... VSS need doing, is it possible that oil has pooled in the spark plug wells and is stopping a spark? Therefore no ignition. I think removing the plugs and giving it all a good clean out will be my first port of call. List of possibilities I have: Map sensor hose Ignition related (injectors?/plugs?/coil pack clips?/coil packs?) Fuelling (pump?/blocked lines?/filter?) ECU Any other ideas? It won't even rough idle now. The engine tries, shakes a bit and dies.
  15. Right. Discovered over the two weeks the Supra has been sat that the battery has died. Bridged E1 and TE1 and comes up no stored codes. I'm guessing this is because the ECU has reset itself since the battery died. Any ideas where to go from here?
  16. Recent MOT. Failures 001 Nearside rear (inner sill) Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded [2.4.A.3] 002 Nearside rear (cracked) Trailing arm rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement [2.4.G.2] 003 Offside rear suspension arm corroded and seriously weakened [2.4.G.1] 004 Nearside rear (inner arch) Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded [2.4.A.3] 005 Offside rear (inner arch) Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded [2.4.A.3] Advisories 006 Offside rear (inner sill) Suspension mounting prescribed area is corroded but not considered excessive [2.4.A.3] 007 Near side rear suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened [2.4.G.1] - - - Updated - - - I've not had a second opinion. The car is back at mine so I'll be having a look when time allows. The Supra is priority today but I might get a look later on.
  17. Also, the MOT previous to the ones posted above ran out September 2014, yet another was issued May 2014. Is that legal? The one before had an advisory on the rear pads, which I had to replace a couple of months into ownership, so that was never remedied. I have a feeling they literally just printed a fresh ticket without conducting an MOT.
  18. Last year. Completely clean MOT. No advisorys. This year. Failure due to corrosion. I can't believe none of the corrosion was picked up last year as advisorys.
  19. The MOT was doe by the garage I bought the car from. I'm pretty certain it was a dodgy MOT after this one. I'll upload a pic of the certificates for a comparison in a bit.
  20. Cheers Josh. Hoping something simple is the cause. Fingers crossed.
  21. As some have seen my daily failed its MOT due to excessive corrosion. When I bought it last year (May) it came with a brand new MOT provided by the garage. Now with this failure, I'm wondering if they just whacked a new ticket on it, as it seems odd that in the space of a year and a bit all this corrosion has suddenly appeared to the point of a fail. If it was sold with a dodgy MOT, where would I stand? I have a feeling that being over a year I don't have a leg to stand on, and to be fair, would probably be more hassle than it's worth to go into it. It's more of a "be wary thread" for others I guess.
  22. Well, today is finally the day to investigate. Can someone remind me which ports to bridge to pull error codes please.

    Scrap car value?

Ah ok. I'll send you a copy tomorrow when I go and collect the car. Luckily I managed to borrow a trailer.

    Scrap car value?

Can do mate. Not sure what good it would do though.
  25. My daily failed its MOT on excessive corrosion of suspension mounts, arms bushes and pretty much anything else that can corrode. To fix everything would cost more than the car is worth, so I'm planning on just scrapping it. Details Mazda6 TS2 2002 (52) Manual Grey Cloth interior Factory extra Bose sound system including sub 6 CD multichanger Alloy wheels with 4 good tyres Electric Windows Electric Sunroof How much would it be worth scrap to a scrappy do we think? I did an online comparison and it quoted £54 The wheels with tyres alone on eBay go for £150-£200. Thinking I may be better off breaking it and scrapping what's left. Opinions...
