  1. Delivery is an option, but I will accept no responsibility if the condition is not as expected. They are described as accurately as possible. I have no idea on clearance though. What I can do later today/tomorrow is put one on over my UK brakes and take a photo. Best I can do really.

Welcome If you pay the £10 membership fee you will gain access to the PM system along with the Classifieds section and other perks of the forum available to only paid members.
  3. Bump Back up for sale. No change bar location.
  4. On mine I had the same problem. I ended up putting a smaller ID hose over the nipple, and then a larger ID over that to create the "step down". Like it is in the picture you have up, but rather than a join in the middle, the smaller ID hose is inside the larger one.
  5. I guess it depends on the insurance company. A couple of months back the handbrake failed on my daily, letting it roll into one of the work vehicles. Gave my boss my insurance details but they tried to go through the fleet insurance to save me the hassle. Turned out fleet wouldn't cover it so they went through mine in the end. This was a week later. I just got a call asking why I hadn't informed them, explained and everything was fine. Also, if you don't use insurance to pay for the repairs on your car you won't have to pay excess. Excess is only applicable to your own vehicle repairs, not someone elses. I had that worry too as the above was my first ever insurance claim.
  6. Please add a price. We all know that everyone knows the minimum amount they would accept for an item. If it helps, I sold a similar CF bonnet a couple years back for £200 or so in similar condition.
  7. First advert - Not great This advert - Worse Please use the template available in the Classifieds section to rewrite your advert. It will help you sell it quicker and help you to provide all the relevant information to make the sale easier for yourself and potential buyers.
  8. On a black car, I'd personally keep the ears. In the grand scheme of things, black on black you won't really notice the difference. If it was on another colour car, I'd say earless or colour code it.

Hey Karrie, welcome to the "my hubby can't hide" club Best start behaving Marcus!
  10. Cheers Ben. I'll hopefully get a look next week.
  11. There were Walkers the other side of the fence too, that's why they didn't climb over it
  12. They should be easily reproduced. All they are is a 2mm thick length of stainless steel with an etched logo. I sold mine ages ago to Benjy for about £20 I think.
  13. Make: Seat Model: Toledo 20V T Year: 2003 (53) (Basically a Passat/A4) Problem: 1 - Recently my reverse lights have been coming on when I'm not in reverse. I know this will have something to do with wiring somewhere as I've checked the bulbs and connections on the lights. Both lights come on, and if I unplug one, the other stays on, so it must be before the wiring splits to each side. As they are on when I'm not in reverse, would it be wiring/some kind of switch around the gear select? Some pointers about where to look would help loads. 2 - My brake lights seem to take a while to come on when I brake. Under light braking they don't operate, they only come on once I push a little harder. Is there some kind of pressure switch under the pedal or something I can adjust? This one I have no clue where to look to fix the problem so help would be very much appreciated on this one.
  14. I'm gutted he was munched on too, but would the other guys blood conceal him? Or does it have to be zombie blood? In all honesty, as much as I'd love to see him alive, I can't see how he can get out of that situation. What I want to know, is who blocked the fire escape stairs in the alleyway? New character coming in? The reason I think he won't make it is that we have seen him in situations where we'd all think he is done for, but never have we seen him with that much pain on his face or screaming his head off. He's dead.
  15. I'd go back 10 years, put a bet on for all Premier Leaugue results to come in that season, probably win millions, not join the Army and buy two of: TT6 Supra, R34 GTR, RX7, NSX, 240Z, old school Celica, Mustang GT etc etc one to stay stock and kept pristine, the other to build into monsters. Buy a nice house with a huge garage and lve happily ever after. Probably start my own outdoor adventure business and live an easy life. Or, I'd assassinate Hitler and save everyone a lot of hassle.
  16. Another joy of a building site next door
  17. Since I've left the Army and started working at an outdoor adventure centre I deal with Autistic kids every week from various points in the spectrum. It's a great feeling when they do things that their teachers and parents think they won't and is greatly satisfying. You've done a wonderful thing giving up your business to help those who need it. You Sir, are and should be an inspiration to us all. It's really nice to hear you get great satisfaction from what you do now, and I'm glad you are making headway with your boy in some areas, even if some are more of a struggle. In the summer at my centre, we are open for 3 weeks where families can come down and partake in the activities. If you would like for next year, I can see if I can get you a discount (families of staff get 50% off, but I'm unsure if that would be for friends also.) Accommodation and food is all included in the price too. We do everything from surfing and climbing to mountain biking and caving. If you would like me to enquire about it, I'm happy to do so.
  18. Well I've just had my mate pop round and the good news is it is repairable. It's a big repair job, but doable. He also said the wings are almost definitely original and not moulds and definitely aren't cheap frp ones. So at least I know they are proper decent panels. I also have a garage to take it to, which used to be part owned by may friend, which has just had a Murcialago and a 458 in for body repair, so I'm happy for it to go there on his recommendation. Just need to get all that sorted and for the muppet to foot the bill and we are all good.
  19. I think if his boss didn't notice he would have tried to get away with it. That's what annoys me the most. This is for you Mk4Gaz.......any ideas? It does look like fibreglass, just not any fibreglass I've seen before.
  20. It's definitely not kevlar or carbon I know that much
  21. My front bumper is FRP/GRP and is a completely different composite to the wings. I'll try and get a close up of it tomorrow. Maybe the wings are just much better quality. They sound almost metallic if you flick/tap them.
  22. Thanks Nick. Thats a good £2500 cheaper than where I found them last time! Those are FRP though, mine are Glass Fibre, which is why they were much more expensive I guess. Where it's shattered, it looks like crystal on the inside.
  23. I've got a friend who has owned two bodyshops in the past who is popping round tomorrow to give me his opinion. His shops were very well renowned around here and he's done a lot of high end work, including building a '69 mustang fastback. I've wanted to change the wings for a while but with the blending I haven't had the money, so it may be an opportunity for me. We'll wait and see.
  24. I've been trying to find the wings but haven't had any luck. Last time I found them it was after 2 years of looking. To be honest, I'd go for different cheaper ones if he agrees to do both sides. It would still work out cheaper I reckon. Paint would be around the £200 mark I think.
