If you go to most car accessory shops, or even DIY shops, you should be able to get an "O" ring that fits, I did and have had no problems.

Hi Chris, welcome, firstly great Capri, those 2.8 lumps are very good engines I had an XR4i for a few years loved it, one of my best. As everyone has already told you about not being able to get a good Supra for £4000, then, as in your post you are looking for a runner that isn't too bad, there are some around (not many on here though) but it would take quite a lot of money, a lot of self help and time to bring it up and keep it running, but if that's what the old man wants then good hunting, ( I can say old man cos I am one).

The big thing that kills a lot of birds during these really cold spells is lack of water, so try to put some teppid water out most days or melt existing stuff as well as a good spread of foods.
