Hi and welcome stranger from far up the northern lands, at least it seems like you have had a lot of experience of the quicker cars, you''l get all the "stuff" you will need on here. best of luck.

Paris is always a nice place to go, lots to do, romantic too. Rome is the same but warmer, I've been to Nice a few times and have always enjoyed that, lots of places near by to see, (Monty-Carlo, Cannes). Also a really good place is the bay of Naples, somewhere like Sorrento, you have got, Vasuvius, Pompeii, Isle of Capri near by, bit pricey around there though but lots to do.

That looks very much like a double de-cat pipe, and the three bolt flange is where it goes on to the EGCV actuator section, if it were a second de-cat pipe it would be straight, but that one comes up at the end and it looks about the right length for a double de-cat.

Sounds like a good idea, I would be up for it, if it doesn't clash with so much else next year, (japfest, any club 10th anniversary stuff, work, hols). Just seen the date for Japfest in a thread so we're ok there.

Hi and welcome, hope you get everything out of the club you want, it's the place to be.

Hi and welcome to the club, it's the right place to be.

Also interested.

Where do the eco-electric-friendly pushers think the electricity comes from to charge up thier cars, they are not as "friendly" as they would have you believe. If there were to be a large increase in the near future the "System" would not be able to cope. If the government were serious about eco-transport they should start with thier own house first and then look at company cars.

Have a word with Chris Wilson on here, he prefers email to PMs, I know he does exhaust gaskets.

That looks and reads like a very nice car, that would be a good buy.

Congratulations, great pictures.

Just want to say a big thanks to Fitz for sorting this out, looking forward to number 4 next spring, and of course we'll all come Fitz, keep them coming. Was good to have a bit of a natter with you all, old and new members, cars got a bit dirty to start with but it all cleared up by Brighton, and it was a great route, we got home at 6.45, bit of a drive but well worth it. The club was done proud and there are some picies to follow to prove it. Cheers.

We're on, its dry, its shiney, and its very, very, slick. See you in a few hours.

Well done Dan, as Fitz says, "now THAT is the shizzle"
-
Come on Dan you can do it, don't worry about the dash, just let it all hang, (and the dash) easy. Unless its really bad weather I'll be there, spent 6 hours doing everything to the car yesterday, would be a shame to waste it, though we have had some major showers here today.

Wow, I thought I was doing well on my 12" humpy bumpy slopey bit, but that's scary dangerous stuff
-
Congratulations JP. Poor you, how expensive is your life going to be, better sell all your cars, and your father-in-laws.

I'm in the Hampshire Brigade and Carlos has covered most of the points very well. Its not over pay, we all realise that sacrifices have to be made everywhere, but people also don't realise that if we (the fire service) are not careful there will soon be only 4 FF on a truck. If there is only one truck initially at an incident, and due to restrictions being placed upon us, there wouldn't be enough to carry out a safe rescue of anyone who becomes trapped, lives WILL be at risk then, on a regular basis. There is a lot going on behind the scenes that the general public does not hear about, most of us are in this job because, (like all the other services) we really do want to help, trust me it's not the pay that keeps us doing it. There are many reasons why LFB are striking and they have the backing of most of the Ff in the rest of the country.

Dan, are you going to have your wheels sorted for Sunday?
