  1. Looks like a really nice car, shame there isn't any more info on what has been done to raise the BHP, (though it may only be BPU), looks good for that price.
  2. Get in touch with Stonkin on here, he does detailing and will give you good advice.

Hi Rob and welcome to the club, with reference to the auto, when the little button is pushed "IN" then you have engaged the O/D and it would act like a 4th gear, there should be no lights on at this stage. If you do a search on "Supra chat", "Tech ref", you should come up with a LOT of talk on the Auto box, I'll just put up a few things you may not be aware of. There should be a manu button at the side of the stick, which when pressed allows you to use the auto shifter (and box) in nearly the same way as a manual ie go from 1 - 2 - 3 when you select it, (good for playing). There is also a kick down button underneath your go faster peddle, when you go to WOT (wide open throttle)the switch will drop a gear and you fly, (oh, a little anyway, forgot you have a N/A). Hope some of that helps, sorry I can't shed more light on your problem light.
  5. Done, thanks Steve. We just need to figger out the booking for the hotel now.
  6. Happy birthday Fitz, for yesterday, sorry for being a day late, wasn't on yesterday.

  8. Yep, France trip the weekend before, is just a warm up for the fun convoy from reading down the M4 to this, its one of the best.
  9. Yep, then we can start paying, wow! that's going to be a bit of a nightmare for someone, sorting that out.
  10. Trailer looks good, going to have to see if I can get this.
  11. I think the gold ones look best in that style Scott, followed closely by the silver, but I'm gold biased.
  12. Send an email to Chris Wilson, I got my last gaskets from him and always good service.
  13. Might be shooting yourself in the foot a bit there, don't discount the Auto till you've had either a drive in one or a good show of what they can do, I had driven manuals for thousands of years and always said the same as you, guess what I now have. Saying that though, if someone offered my car to me as a manual then I would have it, if you see what I mean. Anyway, welcome to the club, have a real good search around especially the Tech ref section for lots of info.
  14. Saving up for all the good club outings this year, and hopefully getting the car to Stonkin for a good doing.
  15. I'm taking my wife so there will be a few wife/girlfriend/partners coming. Just been onto Travelodge at Ashford and booked up a room. For those who may be interested there is a shell garage selling V power at junction 11 of the M20, which is just before the junction for the check in booths for the tunnel. A question for those who may be in the know, is there an equivalent fuel in France or would it be best to take a can with V power in. plus at some stage I think it would be best if we had a list of, "come in handy" things we take, so we don't double up but are well covered, (tools/spares/fluids).
  16. Hi, Andy long time no hear, no see, how are you?
  17. Wow Scott, to say you didn't get any good footage and then produce a vid like that, congratulations mate, as per, a really professional job, (it was nearly worth the wait). FITZ, we really should do another, maybe in April so its not too close to the France trip, maybe the "big city" could be a venue.
  18. Cheers, all sounds good, I'll have a look at the Travelodge.
  19. Yes I had my engine rebuilt by AFR using forged pistons and John explained that they are slightly smaller when cold and that they rattle around a bit on cold start and its good practice to let them warm up first. you can really hear the difference on a cold start to when they have warmed up nicely.
  20. Even at the hotel prices now, the whole thing is looking very affordable. Has anyone got any recommendations for a hotel at Folkstone, we are in London for a concert on Thursday night and want to drive down and stay there late Thursday, ready for an early start.
  21. That Whifbtz exhaust looks good and looks like it's a great fit, where a lot of after market exhaust are not. I have to say that the nur spec R's always sound great.
  22. There have been quite a lot of threads talking about the manu button, have a search, both on supra chat and technical. If you want to "play" with your auto supra, I find it best in manu mode.
  23. Chris I'll have a set of these, do you want pay pal payment to your usual account with a message what its for.
