I will try not to scratch it fitting it mate after all your hard work cleaning and painting it........

Dont worry mate its far from perfect, my brush solidified and wasnt able to cut in very well lol, more there to give it some protection from the elements anyway.

Look forward to fitting it tomorrow! hoping I can fit the decat in the morning.

Right so step one is done-ish. The new de-cat is fitted and sounds much better the noise is very faint now. So happy with that, did have one issue though as one of the studs that secures the manifold wont bite now so need to get a new thread done on that, will get that sorted asap.

Also big thanks to Adam aka 'Hammer' for the chrome rings, was never a fan before but they tie in with the chrome toyota badge on the wheel. May get one for the gear shifter surround.

The car is now loaded up ready for this afternoon, and then its LSD time. :)

She is also in need of a damn good clean, its filthy atm

So diff is now fitted :) Colin really is a great guy. Cant recommend him enough. Job went fairly well! :)

Nice to have the first bit of tidying the underside done.

Havent been able to fully try out the diff as I had the old one in the bott rolling around, but out of the corners it certainly pulls better, and I did do a quick full throttle blip on a sharp turn and the back end flick out in a completely different manor to the open diff :eyebrows: Just need to get some practice with it.

So yesterday I took the old girl out on the first proper drive since the installation of the LSD, have to say it hooks up so well now, only sad thing is you have to push it a little harder now to slip the back end. It just wants to grip!

We did a fair few miles driving around the New forest, combined with a good pub lunch and a beer made for a great Saturday.
