  1. From what I remember in January, I thought mine were missing as well. After inquiry with agents, the smaller "triangle" shape is no longer available.
  2. I almost thought you knew me as thats what they refer to Indians around my country in certain parts
  3. Another thread revival and thanks to the OP for making a pdf for us for future reference and to the guys who actually conducted the write up for people like me. I just got myself a pair of face lift head lights and am wondering if toyota still stock the outer cover for the fog lamp which has the wire and plug mounted behind the cover as mine came with no bulbs or cover for that fog lamp. I have a preface lift car without front lights so next on the list is buying the looms and the face lift lights themselves. I know Whiftbitz keep the looms and lights but there is also another vendor who stocks them. None the less for now I am more after the black cover with rubber for the outer light hole socket for face lift light. Does anyone know if they can still be ordered from agents?
  4. Damn. Thread revival here as looking for some knowledge before I post up my request and insight or some questions I have and stumbled upon this. Casheye is really a dude with many talented skills. Great work man.
  5. If you dont win, you could look up Ross Anne Galbraith on FB. He always has alot and I assume this is not a part everyone is looking for always. Good luck mate
  6. Mike. You by any chance have the steel line with valve from the brake master cylinder/servo to the intake manifold? It mounts on the fire wall upper section where the vin is stamped.
  7. Ebay last had the pair brand new. I would type it in google and then look under images and when you see the two with oem boxes in the background, click on that photo and visit the site if it says the link is for ebay. It will take longer on ebay unless if you can probably find it by searching for supra air dash vents or something along those lines.
  8. Damn mate. Sorry to see that. Were you the one who posted another post referring to Brian aka Paul Walker's move of jacking the aero top off with a single push or did this happen to someone else as well recently? Could a panel beating shop not pull those dents out? I have seen a shop local to me repair a roof on a Supra here without body filler. But it has a lot of tiny dings in it so guess they will only use a thin layer of body filler to repair it. Hope you come right with finding another
  9. Thanks Mark. Will get back to you when funds are in favour. In the case you run out of stock of these, will you be able to make again?
  10. Hello there. Price on shipping to South Africa please
  11. "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for supra parts, I can tell you I don't have any. But what I do know, you possess a very particular set of skills, skills you have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make you a craftsman for enthusiasts like me." Jamie, what a transformation man. That car is worthy of any Toyota museum reputation. Keep up the good work
  12. Hello there Matt. Can you tell me what has the ECU helped you with? I am assuming if you have increased the boost, it should prevent the ECU from cutting the fuel unless you have achieved that with the direct power supply mod but I am unsure of how that works currently. I too have the same spec car as yours and only recently did I acquire my engine which will require a rebuild. I have the std Auto TT ECU and Throttle ECU and I too have a MINES plaque on the main ECU.
  13. Hello there. I have seen a member on the forum install 1 on his car. Any reason why you would use this unless making huge ponies and have aftermarket brakes to prevent the pedal and entire master servo moving?
  14. congrats man. photos or it didn't happen
  15. Ebay might be cheaper for you though that slave cylinder might be a problem to come by.
  16. Just an FYI. If you have any stone chip on the windscreen, don't put those shiny type of windscreen protectors when parked in direct sun as the heat will build up between that and the windscreen and crack the stone chip. Love the job on that dash of yours Mark.
  17. Not that it matters but for future reference, it is a VVTi solenoid and apart from the solenoid and plug and its own loom, OP will require the oil feed line from block to the solenoid itself and banjo bolt. Why can you not reuse the head? Pardon me but perhaps it is cracked unless severely warped. Is it not repairable if a company had to weld it up in the event that it is cracked and then skim it or something. My brother had a cracked Honda B16A cylinder head around the combustion chambers. They removed the valve seats and welded the head up and then machined it. They then fitted new valve seats and cut them down to the required valve seating angle and it looks all new again. Only time can tell how long it will last. Your last resort would be to find a complete head as mentioned. Someone in my country was selling a complete one for approximately $500.
  18. That spark plug cover for a GTE engine or N/A? VVti or non? You have pm
  19. I even thought of that. Concealing a metal plate inside the fibre glass so it doesn't have much flex as will be the idea of most of the bumper repairs as to where they mount as well. Thanks for your time and response Dunk
  20. Thanks for that Dunk. I did inspect what was left of the one side of the fender and yeah, as you mentioned, it does seem quite strong so will try and repair it to that same thickness and look.
  21. Sad to hear both incidents here especially OP but Shane, you lost a fortune there man. Sorry. Hope you can find the oaf that stole your washing machine Peter.
  22. What did you do in the event of that Dunk? I am considering making steel brackets as they would hold the lights better than the FRP giving way for any reason but if I build up a few layers after curing process, it should make it stronger. I am after the OEM look but them lights aint cheap.
  23. In the last photo, one can see the smaller steel/aluminum stopper on the side just to the rear of the small white box. I need to see how or what that part attaches to please. I did look this thread up here and didn't find any photos of what I am looking for or the part number. People only asked how to release the hood and assistance with hood not opening but none as to how to replace the cable or fitment of it under the fender where it attaches to what I am concerned with at this moment in time.
  24. Once again require assistance from anyone who has photos of how they fitted theirs and where another part of the cable is attached to under the fender well areas. I have fitted my hood locks to the cradle/valence of the head lights and strapped the cable around the edge before it trails down to the fender. I will have to buy the oem clips to hold the rest of it in place but I see there is this big steel like stopper section thats way before the firewall and then lastly followed by the cable that fits into the latch inside the cabin area. I have a slight idea of what to look for in my parts pile of whatever is available but I am uncertain as to what it looks exactly like as to where this silver stopper attaches under the fender. 78185-20080 refers to clamp/accelerator control cable however that cable comes through the top of engine bay and attaches to the brake servo and then throttle body of intake. Anyone have a photo of this p/n and not a drawing of it please. Also where it attaches to.
