  1. Thanks Dunk. Much appreciated. Yeah dumb idiots man. Sad thing is I bought the car off the owner unfinished so now trying to sort out what I can before she gets to her former glory once more. Interior was also missing alot of parts and dash panels were covered in material.
  2. Hello mate. Please do man. I'd appreciate it. These dumb retards who done the body work on my car cut that part off. I would like to see how it looks oem on the TRD fender so I can replicate it on mine if possible.
  3. As topic states, trying to figure out how does the head lights attach to the car. I am awaiting delivery of them so trying to figure it out for now. I have TRD replica front fenders and I don't see mounting tabs for the 2 nuts on the head light bracket to mount. Does it even mount to the fender inner front section? Does anyone have aftermarket FRP fenders and can show me what they done with their's or can someone enlighten me as to how the headlights attach apart from the one bolt at the center on either side of the radiator support?

  7. Yeah I read that they have the tendency of coming apart. I see whiftbitz sells one but its a bit hefty priced but I guess the welds and the overall product show in the price.

  9. I think I must pm you with questions instead. Really appreciate your time and response. I am lucky the owner of the engine did find the original ecu plugs but my guess is he swapped the ecus on the engine sale as he sold a vvti motor a year back. His car's are one n/a auto, and one manual 6spd single with Spitronics I think. I have managed to try and get the plugs to me so when I do have them, then I can plug them into my ECU and dump my std throttle auto GTE ecu or see if agents have the plug in stock and order it for the Throttle ECU. Hmmm them electrical crimping tools are expensive indeed. I have a set at work and I have a decent one I purchased which works fine but the company one I have has interchangeable heads.

  11. Good day As mentioned looking for one pre-VVTi engine centre cover for the coil packs on a 2jzgte engine please. I will try my luck on Facebook as well. If you have one please consider posting it my way obviously at my own expense. Will appreciate it very much. Don't want to buy them aluminum custom plates nor the carbon fibre style ones. Thanks in advance.

  14. Hello Supra members. Need advice on what to do? I am missing the ECU connector plugs to the main ECU and throttle control ECU for my vehicle. I had a look on the net and found a site that sells the plugs alone and then the terminals separately. I recently bought an engine as well but although it was an Aristo non turbo vvti motor, I was given a vvti ECU and ignitor with plugs however the one plug on the ECU is missing. I doubt trying to splice those connector ends to the motor will work as the ECU isnt the same for the motor. Should I try and get a full GTE engine supra harness or buy the plugs and do the wiring myself? I am afraid that if I buy the plugs and pins new, I wont get the plug for the throttle ECU. I do have the std 2jzgte auto ecu and throttle controller that came with my car. Does anyone have these plugs lying around spare and willing to sell to me or can experienced members advise me on what route is best? For now I just want to get the car sorted out and run on the std motor and setup. Not interested on going single or making more than 300-400hp on the car. The engine I bought was not off an importer but it did come with the complete loom which has 1 or 2 broken plugs as well as the old hard and brittle coil plugs.

  16. Good day Supra owners and knowledgeable people alike I am trying to find an answer to this question of mine. I have a 2jzgte engine in non running condition and I was wondering if the vvti crank timing gear will work on it or not using the std gte non vvti ecu? I know the teeth configuration is different but would this prevent engine start up or have possible rough idle or should I be rest assured that it will work? I read up on the whiftbitz one and he mentions that they weld the pick up plate to it as they come loose on high powered engines. Should read rather loose on 2jz engines as they are a powerful non the less. Anyone tried this or know of anything with regard to this, please chime in.

  19. That look like a CLA class model. The same shape the 45 AMG model came in. Hope you find that idiot. Could have costed someone a life there. Cant believe the nerve to have sped off afterward. Can see further up hill how the car is really going at it.
  20. Cameron. Can you show me a photo of how you mounted those seat belts of yours behind the seats? My triangular ends are confusing me from waht I should do with them after the bar.

  23. Sorry to jump in here. Building my car up and for now want to stick with the auto box. If I can push 400hp on aftermarket pump and exhaust only with standard engine if I am lucky. I would like to see photos as I seem very blonde at this moment in time of how to run it tandem. I know the Mercs have it running somehow through the radiator. Is it possible for me to just run it through an oil cooler? If so does the auto A340E trans found on an RZ TT model have any lines? I don't think I see any on mine or maybe the previous owner or whoever removed them as they were going manual but didn't take the box out. Sorry once again for the thread jack.

  25. It can pull toward the centre like how you would pinch a hose I assume. It cant slide of the ends or something. You could try and move it from the edge to see where you could use a flat taped up screw driver to pry it off.
