  1. Next was dragonball 2018 which there is a lot of stuff posted on the forum for already but here are some of my favourites: also made a video about that: MKIV Supra Owners Club - Dragonball 2018 - YouTube
  2. Next was Japfest at Donington park which I took the supra on track for. that was a great day although a little too many people up close to the car for my liking lol
  3. Next was hibernation over the winter and then 2018 which was a great year for supra relate d happenings. First was the Hatton MR2 meet, some photos and a video here: MKIV Supra - Hatton MR2 Drivers Club Event 2018 - YouTube Excuse the amateur videos btw I was never very good at making them!
  4. Thought I had better update this as its been quite a while. I guess the next thing to happen after the last post was Suprapod 2017. It was a great day with the GTR club in attendance and I had some great races! car performed well but seemed to be low on boost at the time i remember which in the end I believe was the boost pipes being collapsed. i changed these and all was well. it was a pain of a job and i cant seem to find the pictures of it. All fixed after that though! (Edit: added the photo of that pipe!) some pictures and a video here: Suprapod 2017 - YouTube
  5. Just read this myself. Can’t believe the stuff you’ve been through.. welI actually I can relate a lot. Had a lot of crap to deal with and now sitting with a blown gearbox but it’s not all bad. Has some great memories. honestly you’re probably better off either breaking it or selling it fully working. Selling a broken car is never going to be good value for you. Fix it and see how you feel. That’s what I’m going to do. As i feel now I want to sell but who knows when it’s working on a sunny day
  6. Well done on the upgrade. It’s been a while!
  7. You’ll get nothing from Toyota. They made 23 BILLION dollars in PROFIT last year and they still couldn’t be bothered to make their own flagship vehicle. You think they’re going to care about what fans want? The heritage parts will be easy parts, made by the lowest bidder. You’ll get nothing more. You’re better off supporting businesses who will fabricate aftermarket parts to keep these cars going, because Toyota doesn’t care at all. In the future Toyota won’t want to be associated with fuel driven vehicles at all and promote its electric range so you’ll get no support at all
  8. https://toyotagazooracing.com/gr/heritage/ Basically nothing important right now
  9. Saw you driving on my way home around 16:00. Had to double take as I never see supras driving about my way. Let alone in the rain [emoji28]
  10. You WILL be offered well under the going price for it as you’ve admitted you’re unsure. I would pay the membership, post plenty of photos on here and you’ll get a genuine valuation on it. Otherwise you’ll get stupidly cheap offers
  11. Unfortunately my car won’t be ready for this but I am definitely up for this next year if it’s still going!
  12. Wish I’d got some bitcoin last December when it was 2k. Knew it would go up but needed the money at the time. Would have been laughing
  13. Seeing the other thread it seems like you have a genuine reason. It’s just there seems to be a large amount of people buying these cars and flipping them for a quick buck. So I assumed this was just an attempt at Hiding the original for sale thread for this reason. As it’s a genuine reason I’d leave it to show the cars history
  14. It’s concerning that the new owner wants the history of the car removed so close to their purchase date
  15. Adrian flux. Swapped between them and sky the last few years
  16. Mines currently agreed at £30k and they know it’s an NA 6 speed car converted to TT. I sent them documentation showing what it would cost to replace and they didn’t question it
  17. I have to admit I gave this stick to begin with as well but I do think it’s good for the club and it’s definitely better than before (Those flames ) plus that rear wing seems quite impressive as it’s functional. It would be good to see the car in the metal at some point. Let me know when you’re out and about in it Ellis
  18. https://toyotagazooracing.com/gr/heritage/ Door handles Head lamps Brake booster got their priorities right didn’t they Dear Toyota, We can only take so much disappointment for one decade. Sincerely, All non BMW Supra Owners
  19. The lies are huge for me personally. In my opinion its a huge loss of credibility. How can you trust a brand that has lied, about this flagship no less, that much. It wouldn’t surprise me if this heritage scheme comes to nothing.
  20. I’ve lost a lot of respect for Toyota after all their reasonings for not building their own flagship car. Now they build this... So Toyota like to lie a lot is what we’ve established?
  21. Tbh I thought the6 were really generous with the scores. Everything they said was right though. Lazy for such a rich company like a Toyota

    Supra crash

The way they’ve done it there is awful but I could see how it could be done safely. I.e. new box section metal the length of the car or a whole new frame/chassis/welded cage. This is just a case of welding the seams which seems insane to me
