I had an RSR exhaust and although it sounds great, on a long run it drones like hell. Changed mine for a HKS silent hi power after the RSR rotted out (also an issue with them)

Agree with this. Honestly it doesn’t feel special at all. Which is really what Toyota should have done for their flagship sports car. I have to say the test day was great but I couldn’t help but feel it was because they lacked confidence in their product that they even had the day. Anyone who knows the supra won’t buy one, anyone who wants a BMW will go buy a BMW. This car has literally no place in the market and all they’ve done is taint the brand

It’s a great car performance wise. It doesn’t feel like a supra though. Interior is totally BMW and it feels like you’re sitting in one the whole time. Looks great in person. Drives nice, much like my dads m240i as it’s got the same drivetrain. However the handling is much improved in comparison on the supra.

Stopped watching soon after they changed it all. It’s not even because the trio have gone it’s that they’ve desperately tried to replicate them ever since they left. It’s awful now and honestly even the grand tour isn’t that great anymore. It’s all been done before. I really think think the whole BBC is pointless now. I don’t think the licence fee should exist either

You can tell BMW had all the power in this arrangement as well as the most to gain because on the day of release for the supra BMW stated that the Z4 was faster and had more power.... Toyota have walked blindly into a slaughter

If it doesn’t cover the engine it wouldn’t surprise me. They did mention on the live stream that it’s been tuned with reliability in mind. Worrying that BMW are going to release the same engine with 380bhp+ though as it kind of undermines that statement

He specifically said you couldn’t turn it all off when someone asked him that, even in sport then track there are still electronic nanny systems in place. I find the more involved I get, the more dissapointed I get. Toyota had plenty of Lexus platforms to utilise that would have made the car worth considering. The only upside is it comes with a 5 year/100,000 mile warranty

They’re doing a live show for those who have reserved. EDIT: they kind of answered my question. They’ve had a relationship with BMW since 2014 when the i8 was released. You can’t turn off all the electronics They stated just the wing mirrors and window wipers are shared parts but we know that’s incorrect.

That’s a shame as I really liked the look of the f type and my dad was considering one. I have to agree that Porsche don’t do it for me at all. Really ugly cars IMO. Used Aston Martin vantage is a great car to consider

Saw this on Facebook Pretty evident Chevrolet did a better supra interior than the actual supra.. My question to all the people saying “mods will fix this” Ok so fix the interior? The wheels? Engine? Suspension? So rebuild the whole car is what you’re saying?
