  1. where did you find a oem for £130 I might get one.
  2. Shared on face ache in the 2 groups I'm in
  3. FYI it's London marathon that day so traffic through London might be harder then normal
  4. I replaced mine with a twin set of ford focus horns £10 from the breakers
  5. its a good company that supply's the kit im sure they will sort it very quickly, still that belt is one of the more expensive bits of that kit
  6. the stock horns is pants , get a modern one also which one do you want as there are 2
  7. its a 1.1 cap , im pretty sure its the cap gone /not holding decent pressure, its the only logical thing that would let it boil over into the over flow , plus was going to be doing the water pump, thermostat and cam belt soon so it will also rule them out
  8. are they not on the front page here ? are they the ones in the wrong language link anyway http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/content.php?51-Repair-Manuals
  9. Not over heating but would once enough coolant has disappeared.i thought the thermostat but can feel the bottom rad pipe get hot . Saying that though that was when stationary testing might not open when happens will check when . To be fair I'm going the cam belt soon so thermostat was getting changed may just do that with the rad cap to see
  10. I have a stock TT rad Mike. But the shroud broke at the top but it's only just started doing it and the should broke last year. I think I had this before some time ago with a rad cap when I first got the car so I might get a new Toyota one . As the £5 euro car parts one might not be up to it. Evinx How much coolest you loosing if I drive like a mad man for 15 minutes i recon I could loose a litre leaving a line of water out the over flow. But if I drive like a granny hardly any will go
  11. Hi all having a issue with loosing coolant , when driving hard the coolant boils over into the over expansion bottle and then spills over , this results in coolant lose and I have to keep topping up. I had a over heat issue last year and was down to the rad cap snapped so replaced the rad cap , only a euro car parts one 1.1 bar so its not that old. Its crossed my mind that this could be a head gasket failure pressurising the system , the oils normal , coolant pinky orange , no smoke out the exhaust . when taking the rad cap off and running the car from cold the coolant raises and starts to over flow within a minute with the thermostat closed .when the thermostat opens I can feel the bottom rad pipe get hot so know its opening. whats peoples thoughts

the problem with that is a lot of supra are modified and even the vin could be wrong , the most fun way to find out would be do a burn out and see if both wheels spin, the boring way would be jack the rear up and spin one of the rear wheels and see if the other one turns in the same direction ( if spins in other direction its open diff ).
  13. will be the same as super spark and that's not great had one of my super spark fail in a couple of years , it really is worth getting oem coils unless your changing your ignition system
  14. sort of the water pump different but that's all I believe
  15. this is a comprehensive kit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HKS-Fine-Tune-Timing-Belt-Water-Pump-Kit-For-JZA80-Toyota-Supra-2JZ-GTE-Mk4-TT/132897058178?hash=item1ef1482d82:g:HxAAAOSwWXlcgPge
  16. yeah I remember that I think it was carl maybe carlt67
  17. I believe they would have been too close to get a full frontal . That being said why would you get both number plates unless your going to make a set to stick on so the car doesn't set off nprc. I'm sure it's fine but would be so sad to see it go as the club and the car have changed my life and that's not even a lie . My life was going down a bad path and the etiquette of the club changed my out look on people and life
  18. Thanks for the reply 's . It's was still their this morning . The camera image you can't make out a face just what they was wearing so not to much use to the police . Will keep my eyes peeled though
  19. yeah I guess , one good thing is its not like these keyless entry cars that can be taken in seconds without getting in the house , if they want it they would have to put it on a trailer or get in my house with the house alarm then find the key which is hidden . still might have been nothing might have been just admiring it but seemed pretty close to get the full front and rear on the car from the pictures they took
  20. Have one of my neighbours call me and say 2 hooded young men was taking pictures of my car out side out the house. The car is abit away from my house with a green in front of our houses . But I do have cctv looking at all the cars where they park and got the 2 guys see it walk around a car and took pictures of the side and one of the front plate and rear plate . It's got a proximity alarm so hoping if they come back it will put them off as it's loud and would rumble them straight away . But be vigilant people The first pictures they took looked harmless but when the took the plate pictures seemed more odd
  21. I read it also and there was something about having a modified show car too . Can't remember exactly what it said will dig it out. Discount for showman's vehicles Some showman's vehicles are eligible for a 100% discount from the ULEZ daily charge if they are registered to a person following the business of a travelling showman and have been modified or specially constructed. Trailers and semi-trailers which have been modified or specially constructed are not eligible for the 100% discount. For a vehicle to be eligible for the discount, modifications or special constructions for the purpose of the show must be either: Used during the performance, orUsed for the purpose of providing the performance, orUsed for carrying performance equipment, orUsed for displaying animals to the public, orBelow the chassis level, such that it isn't possible to fit emission abatement equipment If your vehicle meets the above criteria, you need to register with us to qualify for the discount. (Vehicles that are already registered with TfL for a LEZ showman's discount do not need to be registered again for ULEZ). This applies to both UK and non-UK vehicles. If you receive any other discounts or exemptions for the Congestion Charge you still need to pay the ULEZ charge if you drive within the zone in a vehicle that does not meet the ULEZ standards. But this is more a business vehicle for fairs and such I believe
  22. arh that might be what the deal is with the code maybe they swapped to prevent corrosion , it was a old thread that I got that number from
  23. Hi just a quick one I see the part number is 16100-49846 for my water pump on my car Jspec TT. but when searching I see a lot of 16100-49847 for sale , so before I buy I wanted to make sure what the difference is or if there is any between that part number and what is the actual correct number is thanks
  24. You are going to kill that box in no time . Go back to piggy back of use you standalone ecu just to do engine tune not the gearbox. The stock control has a soft change map which limits the torque at gear change this is done to save the gearbox from the harsh gear changes which will strip the clutch packs . Even the well known supra standalones have issues with controlling the auto and with your power you are on the limit and with it mapped as it is your on borrowed time. So to keep the car still nice to drive and be as fast as it can be just let the stock ecu control the autobox it will save you so much grief and your gearbox will last longer . If you still have the emanage put it back in and you shouldn't have to remap if the setup is still the same
