  1. It will do once I fit it.. I'm not actually running na-t yet but i got excited and couldn't wait to install my gauges, so I just have the plug For the 02 sensor taped up out the way. I'm now wondering if its because the sensors not plugged in?? Il check this tomorrow!
  2. Ignore that, thought you wanted the part number for the dizzy cap, that's what I get for speed reading dumb dumb :twak
  3. Pretty sure this is it...19101-65040 dizzy cap £25-£30 I will double check when I'm home!
  4. http://forum.clubna-t.com/showthread.php?t=6895 This might be worthy for the club links..
  5. cheers pal, think option 2 will work well with my down pipe, it already has a bung for the stock sensor so saves me having another welded on.
  6. Can anyone clear up the 02 sensor mod.. I planned to weld a 2nd bung on but I can't imagine there being much space with my 4" down pipe? Is it as simple as cutting one 02 sensor off and joining the wires to the other, or is it more complicated ecu wiring job?
  7. I will be NA-T soon!! its taken me forever to gather my parts and do PLENTY of research, but Im slowly getting there.... Only problem is i find myself adding more and more bits on to the list!! Injectors and ecu are the final pieces to the puzzle
  8. Dont give up mate, a good polish will sort those out! i actually had mine lacquered.. big mistake!! wasnt easy to rub down resulting in delining the lenses
  9. They don't look to bad mate! I had too rub down all the lacquer off using 80 grit then working up to 2500!! It was torture!! Yours look like they just need a good polish up now.. Good luck Here's how one of mine is so far, just need to polish some more for it to be perfect!
  10. well 4months on and swollen sausage fingers here is the results.. there is still alot of polishing to do but im very pleased with how they look and defanitly will not be laquering them!!! the sad part is i have to sell them if i want to finish my na-t, funds will be spent on the e-mange ultimate ecu. im guessing these will be quite rare as nobody would be stupid enough to attemp to de-line facelift lights.. what would these sell for?
  11. Impeccable timing noz, I'm waiting to take delivery on xs manifold, turbo and 3" - 4" dp and mp hopefully this thread will put my mind at ease! Will upload pics when they arrive. Subscribed

  16. update.. iv watched the vid again and pin pointed the noise to 3 and 5 secs into the recording, can anyone advise me on the typical places to look for air leaks.. im convinced its coming from near the inlet manifold but dont know what to check..? sometimes i can hear it if i blip the throttle, but is more noticable under load. if i get no luck off here il put in in the garage for a once over. thanks
  17. im holding out for those yummy headlight rings! lights split and ready
  18. Did mine last week without taking the manifold off, used plusgas and a flexi ratchet spanner came off easy! Just soak them over night! Good luck..
  19. Is this on a stock air filter system? Bought mine with a injen Induction kit fitted.. Im not aloud to play with my car any more tonight or the misses will disown me! So can't go out to check but I did manage to sneak out earlier and found the tensioner pulley has slight play! So I'm wondering if it's a bearing noise?
  20. So today I tightened up the inlet manifold bolts with no affect to the whistle squeak noise Im thinking it might be a pulley squeal noise? Only seems to happen under load on low revs then goes until I have to change gear and accelerate again. So basically 1st gear pulling off slight squeal then disappears change up to 2nd gear as soon as i start to accelerate squeal is back briefly then goes again?? Anyone experienced similar simptems?
  21. After speaking with Paul whiffin I now suspect it might be the intake manifold, I previously took this off to paint and maybe not tightened it up enough? I'm guessing the noise was always there but came more noticeable after fitting the decat!
  22. same here, i first just used the gaskets and it was blowing and whistling real bad, then put paste on which stopped it blowing but not the whistle noise, these are similar to what im using.
  23. Anyone running double decat or even just 1st decat could you please advise if you have used gaskets or paste to fit? Thanks
  24. Mmm I wonder if that's how they sound then?? Iv got crush gaskets on and I used some exhaust paste to be sure, so i wouldn't have thought it was blowing..
