  6. thanks but its abit too far, how did you get the seal and piston back in? what order did you do it?
  7. started off easy, first i tried with the new seal placed in the caliper and then forced the piston over it but that ripped then i tried with the seal slipped over the piston and squeezed it in but the metal securing ring ripped through the seal!! wish i bought a spare set now.. somehow i dont think it will pass its m.o.t on saturday lmfao
  8. I could buy another seal kit again.. but i realy dont think im man enough for the job i have learnt my lesson! anyone know of a good brake specialist i could take them to?
  9. loosing my rag and my hair.. lol i started to refurb my rear calipers all was going so well, stripped them down cleaned them up then started the painfull process of puttin them back together.. until i ripped the new seal i got from toyota!! so now im stuck with no car no brakes and £40 lighter!! can anyone help me out of this nightmare?? urgently need 2 rear brake calipers n/a in as good condition as can be!

  13. got a split in the seal and its soaking my boot!! how much do these sell for?
  14. cheers carl, had my mechanic look at it and what a suprise the noise vanishes, it doesnt seem to be the ball joint or wishbone, what he found was the engine mount had slightly moved [sHOCK][/sHOCK] and the camber needed adjusting on the passenger side, i got abit worried but he told me not to worry!! other than that all he could say was it might be the steering rack.. since it mainly does it when its cold!! next task finding how to adjust camber and more bloody research on the stering rack!!!!! [ANGRY][/ANGRY]

  16. cheers pal, its the brackets that holds the stereo in that i need, the boot blind im not fussed about yet, but i will take the foam inserts if there in good nic!!! some pics would be nice!!
  17. anyone not using there spare wheel clamp and any boot bitz... mines empty so everything thats in the boot will be needed!!! parts wanted: stereo brackets wheel clamp (thats if it will hold my 19" alloy wheel..) boot carpet tool kit poly bitz (im not sure exactly what should be in the boot so if i have missed anything can someone point this out) thanks guys

  19. basically when i turn right i get a strange humming noise coming from the passenger wheel.... but there is no play in the wheel so im guessing its not bearings??? does anyone have any idea what this could be... it only happens turning right mainly hard cornering....
  20. cheers pal, got my trd thermostat today and a new rad cap on its way!! my next task is finding a write up on how to change the thermostat and flush & refill the coolant??? im sure iv seen one before....
