  1. total ledge swampy442 thanks for the advise just plugged it into the loom what looks to be the wrong way.. all working perfectly now, i got the 6k but they look too blue for my liking. but thanks anyway!
  2. bought these off vlad plug and play HID's but no play? heres a few dumb questions: 1/ is it possible to put the ballast on the wrong headlight? 2/ could it be the battery? (it was dead for a few months, i would get mon-fri after it was charged then it would be dead again on the sun or mon.. seems fine now though. 3/ they are h3 bulbs and fit into my j-spec but when talking to vlad he had them fitted into uk lights (do they need to be uk or jap specific)

  10. it didnt look like the cable had snapped but then again im not sure how its all connected, maybe i need to match it up to the other door and compare..
  11. hey guys sorry if it has already been covered but i have searched and couldnt find anything relating to my problem. its my first day back in the soop after 5months sorn, so pulled up to work closed my door and the glass just dropped, so i sobbed for 10mins then took the door card off to inspect it. i didnt have much time so cable tied it up and took a pic, im guessing this is my problem? looks like the white plastic bit with the spring in has broken. what im hoping or more like wishing is can it be repaired rather than buy a whole mechanism? any advise would be very helpful? cant believe it after spending the whole weekend cleaning and waxing her also changed brakes, oil, coolant, front bumper support bar, fitting dash and door panels, refurbed headlights.. now looks like i will be driving the van again.

  14. did my brakes yesterday and spotted this. picture is the gearbox where it joins the engine, it looks like its been like this for a long time, but hasnt been so bad that it leaves puddles of oil on the floor. why is there a hole in my gearbox, its a 5sp man and how do i check the oil level?

  18. anyone in the manchester area who can advise me on insurance companies to try? had my renewal letter but no quote, so i gave them a call and they basically told me enterprise no longer cover the manchester post codes and the best quote they could give was £2k now from £400 full comp was a big the best im getting on comparison sites are between £1500 and £3000.. im quite sure it was under a classic insurance and guessing thats why it was so cheap. im 27 and been driving for 9yrs with 7 yrs ncb but a sp30 any help would be great thank you
  19. phoned sureterm direct this morning for my renewal quote after paying £400 through enterprise and found out today they no longer cover manchester post codes and wanted £2k renewal.. shocking, the worrying thing is the last 2 quotes iv had have been well over 3k?? somethings not right im 27 with 7yrs ncb with a sp30.. i hate this time of year!
