  1. I haven't decided on them yet noz just trying to get some info on them, before I decide! im interested in these guys because they tune the EMU where is austec based? might be good idea to do a new thread in the club-na-t to find out where everyone went?
  2. cheers pal will look into it. jimmys bpu supra - anyone on here? https://en-gb.facebook.com/TuningDevelopments some good reviews, I might pop over and have a chat with them, I would still be interested to see where other na-t's have gone for there map?? who did you use nick?
  3. Il find out, all I know us there based somewhere around birchwood?
  4. Has anyone used these guys in Warrington? http://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk/ I'm looking for mappers in the northwest area? I would be willing to travel abit for somewhere that was experienced with na-t's
  5. that's abit disappointing I will probably ball my eyes out if mine only puts out 250hp after all the work thats gone into it!! what happens now? Would it need remapping again once the misfire is fixed??
  6. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/archive/index.php/t-238183.html?
  7. I'm sure I read about someone having a missfire caused by a faulty ignition coil?? Il try and find the link!
  8. Mine has always idled at a steady 850rpm when warm and it still does although I sometimes get a slight dip when I increase the revs??? Il be looking into this once my exhaust is fitted! Isn't 1k a little high on idle?? I wonder what other na-t's are idling at?
  9. Can I be added to the running na-t list.. Mechanical side of it will be complete tomorrow, then its just a map and I'm done.
  10. It won't fit flush to the turbo! There's about 1cm gap at the top, but I have to drive it like that tomorrow to get it to topgear for the exhaust to be done.
  11. Guess the old girl just needs to clock a few miles then, cheers guys
  12. Yeah the car hasn't been run since taking the engine out, just short idle runs. I just started her up again here's what I got; 14s - startup dropping to 10.5 within seconds 10.8 - after 5mins idle at 850rpm I took it down the road and saw 11s but only when I clutch to change into 2nd. Once I get the exhaust fitted what rpm should I keep it under until I get it mapped?
  13. Guys I'm just wondering if its safe to drive the car to have my exhaust modded, it only has the downpipe loosely fitted. The dp doesn't sit flush up to the turbo will this be why my AFR is at 10.7 on idle? I'm in the finishing stages of my NA-T with only the exhaust and map to do will it be ok to drive it 7-8miles like this?
  14. Happy to help mate, glad its all worked out for you

  16. lol I was thinking of doing mine after seeing them on facebook they look awesome!! how is your oil return routed? I remember you saying you was going to try something different to the usual method.
  17. I cut the ignition control wires to rule the stalling issue out but I'm now wondering if its worth connecting them back up..? What benefits does it have? Seems to be optional going from the wiring instructions.
  18. Have you any pictures? I want as many supports possible!! I'm thinking some sort of rose joint from the suspension turret to the turbo then like yours I want to make some kind if bracket to bolt to the gearbox.
  19. Sorry I really should use that search button!! Turns out 8" long is recommended. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?232341-Cracked-my-xs-power-manifold!/page3&highlight=Flex+section
  20. I'm having my 4" dp and mp fitted next week and want to add a flex section but they can only get hold of 8"x4" @ £48 is this too long? I was thinking more like 4"x4" but can't find them anywhere? Any help with suppliers would be a big help, thanks.
  21. I can't take the credit for it! It was a beautiful mistake, clicked cancel when It asked to import data, so I just set a new one up.
  22. Cheers pal all I could do with the dwn pipe was put it on loosely! Its blowing its tits off!! Think my only option is to weld 2 v-bands together so I can get it to the exhaust shop! Was it you who made something similar?
  23. No idea mate but Iv had a result.. I plugged the laptop in re-done the base map and fired it up while I was still communicating and it runs just fine, so I disconnected and tried again and everything's ok?? So I'm happy!! All I can put it down too is maybe I didn't install the base map correctly?? Doesn't seem to be showing anymore error codes either! Result
