  1. Few updates cut connection for ignition control and linked back up with patch harness - still didn't start Switched jumper8 from 1-2 to 2-3 still the same! I didn't try removing EMU from the loop because after thinking about it I can't see it working! Is there anything else I could try? Maybe a firmware update?
  2. What are you other na-t guys doing about ignition control? Have you wired it up? http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-first-generation/596679-emanage-ultimate-problem-no-ignition-control.html
  3. No i didn't get any Instructions with it. I hope it's just a connection problem, I can't afford to spend more money on a new EMU If it still doesn't start with the EMU out if the loop then I need to re-solder the Connections! Il give it an hour before I wake the neighbours.
  4. Just the EMU harness was removed.. Can I triple check the wiring by plugging my patch extension back in but don't plug in the EMU and see if it will fire up?? It's a second hand unit, Iv never had it fitted to my car before So I don't know the history of it!
  5. Just removed the loom and plug n play harness to check the wiring but it all looks ok? Could it be a firmware problem? Sorry I'm new to all this here's what it updated to when I first communicated with it.
  6. it doesn't happen when im using the stock ecu? and its only after it cuts out. just found this: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?92014-fault-codes-for-E-manage-Ultimate I do sometimes get a steady flashing red light but most the time its green?
  7. Please can someone tell me what these error codes mean..? 65431 through to 65440 flash read error Ok so What's happened is i finally get to stage where I can try and get a tune out of the old girl but with the emu plugged in it won't fire.. Il try and explain the best I can. so I crank it over but nothing happens unless I use a little throttle but then it dies instantly, after I can hear what Im guessing to be the fuel pump working overtime for a few seconds. It's quite loud! when I plugged the ecu into the laptop I got these error codes: I cleared them but then got a new code 65441 flash read error after it still wouldn't start. Iv done a diagnostic check but that came back clear, so I decided to remove the EMU and try again using the stock ecu to which she fired up instantly.. Until I can double check all the wiring I was hoping someone would have an idea what these error codes are??
  8. Or Screw driver/pry bar on the ring gear of the flywheel is the bodge it way..
  9. I think there 12 sided 14mm if I remember correctly?
  10. Yeah mate 50mm x 20mtrs did the job perfectly over lapping by half! I must have at least 5mtrs left! But this is on a single turbo na-t manifold.
  11. 20m of magma wrap was enough to cover my manifold, with loads left! http://www.thermalvelocity.co.uk
  12. Just what I needed.. The idiot guide! Awesome mate thanks
  13. Iv got an idea but I want to be 100% sure, the map sensor, wastegate and turbo vacuum I have sorted! With the bov I though it was to be taken from the throttle body?? The boost gauge Iv took it from the intake manifold??
  14. good job mate, we need vidz!! and close up pics of your vacuum sources cant wait to fire mine up now! well done
  15. Great information there dazzi thanks I almost bought a spec stage 3.. What hp are you running?
  16. Black IC pipes would look nice mate! You can get black anodized ones off flebay if you can't be bothered painting yours. Also slight how close is your silicone hose to the manifold on the compressor side? I'm abit worried mine will melt!!
  17. So I was planning on fitting my engine back in at the weekend until I started to think about what I would need for the job, so I started to search for torque settings for the flywheel which I found to be 49nm + 90 degrees (correct me if I'm wrong) it then struck me that I can't re-use the flywheel bolts.. is this true? Where would I be able to buy new bolts from at such short notice? Also are the clutch pressure plate bolts high tensile? Iv lost one.. Looks like I'm getting nothing done this weekend, which means I get to spend quality time with the misses yippee
  18. Clutch Will be going back in if it doesn't sell this weekend! Forgot to mention release bearing would be included. Decat reduced: £80 posted
  19. Really.. That's too much I don't know when it was fitted but when I bought the car 5 yrs ago it was advertised as having a new clutch fitted, while iv owned it iv done 9-10k, I only use it to drive to work and back which is only 6miles away! Most the time I use the audi If its any good I measured the thickness of the friction plate and it showed 8/9mm??
  20. Bit random.. How can I tell the difference between a good used clutch friction plate and a sh***ed clutch? I've removed my oem exedy clutch which to me looks in really good condition, I'd like to sell it to help fund a new spec clutch for my na-t but don't know what a fair price would be?
  21. That would be awesome mate cheers needed it before Saturday if possible???
  22. I'm trying to find the part number for the gasket that goes in between the cylinder head and intake manifold for the n/a can anyone help me please
