HAT has gone up nearly 100% since yesterday, was a total outside gamble but I've been watching it for a while and when it dipped below double figures yesterday, I couldn't resist. I've made almost 10k since yesterday afternoon and the bounce isn't even finished. My REQ stack is literally double what it was two weeks ago and I've spent no extra money.

Morning guys

It's nice to see some of you investing considerable sums into cryptocurrencys. I've just read the Weiss report and they graded ethereum B and Bitcoin C+. Now I'm after a little advice, I've only recently got into these cryptocurrencys and have invested a few hundred into ethereum and litecoin but I want to make a considerably larger investment and although I've done a fair bit of reading up online I thought I'd come here as you guys, like me, obviously make good decisions in life (aka owning supras ) so im just asking what you lot would advise me to invest in? I was thinking ripple but I haven't taken the plunge yet as I think I need Bitcoin to trade it for ripple.

So any help much appreciated.

Many thanks, Grant

Diversify mate, putting all your eggs in one basket (especially with Ripple) could leave you high and dry.

Most of the good long term coins to hold have been mentioned earlier. Have a read through this thread, learn about the technology behind each currency and just get a feel for what kind of investment you want to make :)

Problem with all of the above coins; they’re all at a high/peak rate now so unless you are willing to risk and throw a lot of money at them to HODL, I’d prefer an ico or another altcoin at cheaper rates (no idea what though)
No they're not. Most of them are substantially down to where they were around a month ago. Example NEO peaked at £140 now trading around £96-£100.

ADA spiked at 92p now around 45p.

TRX hit 22p and was consistently above 10p, now trading around 5p.

I could go on but you get the jist.

It is NOT too late to invest in the key coins mentioned throughout the thread. The market is only $500bn and has trillions and trillions of growth to come.

Do your research, follow key crypto groups and choose/invest wisely.

This is definitely not true, have you not been following crypto currency?

Tabz, ICOs are a total gamble; go and look up how many fail or drop below the ICO price within days of hitting the exchanges. That's much higher risk than buying into an established coin. There is definitely money to be made with ICOs, but it is definitely at the top end of the risk spectrum. Also, what do you mean by "cheaper rate"? Ignore the individual coin price and look at the market cap.

Excuse my ignorance, I’ve not been in it long so weighing things up in layman’s terms.

I’m silly looking at the gbp price I paid to buy in at (not btc value) and looking at what’s been made/lost from that point.

No doubt I bought in at a higher value and will have to Hodl for now, not an issue but on the same note I’d benefit trading small percentages daily.
