Who do you think has already made offers to JC to start a new show with more freedom and budget? Chris Evans would be an ok shout to be fair, first few season will be cringworthy. Give it a couple of years and Sky will buy the rights to the now defunct Tp Gear brand and all will return to normal. Or maybe he will be pouched for Fifth Gear. However, a good share of the blame for this lies with the BBC, who haven't managed Clarkson well at all. They won't buy top gear, they or another channel will just start their own Exactly, JC sold the franchise to BBC and then "forced" himself out, which means that he is probably outside of contract (there were probably clauses that stopped him from leaving and starting another show, but if they sack him, its a different story) and can start another show, exactly the same. Which probably means that the BBC spent a load of license money on the franchise, which is now pretty much worthless!!!
