Lee and James are still working hard on the car. video will hopefully be put up tomorrow BUT i have heard it lol, so thats one thought stored in my special bank for tonight.

ANYWAY.

Lee done a compression test on the forged engine and readings are as follows-

cylinder 1= 190

cylinder 2= 190

cylinder 3= 192

cylinder 4= 188

cylinder 5= 190

cylinder 6= 190

Very happy with them figures and all is looking good. They noticed a slight weep on a oil line which has been sorted now.

Congratulations! Nothing sweeter for a project than the first startup :D

The fact Lee said it went first turn of the key really topped it off, im mega happy. I was dreading the first start up and i had no idea it was going to be today lol. Rolling road is the next worry i guess? im new to all this high performance tuning lol.

First start went well but we had a couple of little problems, a broken wire on the MAP sensor plug ment massive overfueling and a blow from the v band on the turbo so it sounded like a tractor.

Quickly fixed and the second start went much better :)

Rolling road isn't a "worry" - just a happy surprise when you find out how much it makes :)
