  1. That must make Pig Scooby Doo then
  2. We are already looking in to this
  3. Still waiting to see this oe in the flesh. When I'm out the army later this year I must make an effort to get to a few of the TA events.
  4. Didn't the early MKIII's ave a w58? Would explain the shorter cradle.
  5. This. The JSpecs only making 280hp is a crock of poop. The UK spec steel turbos can cope with more abuse, but that's it. The power figure is the same.
  6. That one for sale looks really badly done. Yours on the other hand The light cover on the other one iirc are actually the veilside covers that come with the original kit. Horrendous admittedly, but there you go. I always (and still do) want either a TS Evolution Supra, or a Veilside Fortune one. I am rather jealous of yours.
  7. -What year to go for. (do they differ in style and performance from year to year?) 93-96 is prefacelift. Late 96 onwards is facelift. I'd go for a facelift if you have the budget. -With regards to tuning, what's more suitable vvti or non vvti. As far as I'm aware, the non-VVTi is easier to tune to bigger power. -What faults to look out for when viewing There is a buyers guide on the homepage with all you need to know. HTH
  8. I'd be tempted to paint the centre of the front bumper black. Looks great. Wish I had the time and money to build something like this

I only buy from people I've had interaction with, or people that have been on the forum a long time, that are regularly active. I think it is pretty easy to tell who is an enthusiast and sees the forum as a comunity, and who is here just to take advantage of the forums benefits.

The one you mention from today was not an attempt to be misleading, but a mere misguided advert. I pm'd the member in question and he has since redone the advert at my request. The dyno one, granted.
  11. Keep on topic people. Deleted posts to tidy it up. If there is a greivance start a dispute.
  12. Have you looked through the "wheels known to fit over uk brakes" thread? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?18157-Wheels-known-to-fit-over-UK-brakes
  13. I had the same problem a while back, and that is exactly what I did. The cable on one side had gone slack/snapped.
  14. The feet should come to more of a point. They've either been cut down, or a shoddy copy imo.
  15. I'd avoid the shared driveway. PITA potential is huge. What aout this one? Same postcode, similar price, 4 bed detatched, large garage and driveway for two. Garden isn't as big by any means, but lovely looking house for the price. In my area, you could double the price for that house
  16. Off topic (kind of) but have you got any pics of the Pleco and catfish? My Sailfin Plec only grew to 14inches in a 300 litre tank but it was deep rather than long, which is why I think he stopped growing.
  17. I'm 28 and wish I had £12k to spend! Welcome to the club. Good to see someone has read the rules for once Personally, at the age of 19/20, I'd buy an NA first to get used to the rear wheel drive. The TT's can be a bit tail happy in adverse conditions (so can NA's in all honesty but less so in my experience, and easier to save). I know it's not what someone wants to hear, but we don't want to see a thread in a few months time saying you've wrapped it in the rain Just a bit of advice from my experiences
  18. That seems a good price. May have to find out how much a Z box to supra mount would be. Could be a reasonable alternative now R154 conversions are going up in price.
  19. Never knew there was a Supra in Bude, my family lives 10 minutes from there and I'm moving there in April! One out, one in I guess Looks good. Good luck with the project.
  20. Now that doesn't help at all!!!!! I'm guessing it's a dark colour?
  21. Mawby does this stuff these days. I know he's stupidly busy with things, so I'll bring it up with the Admins for you guys.
  22. I thought changing the VIN details was illegal. Replacing the VIN is fine, as long as the original details are present. Otherwise, people would just steal cars, chuck a new VIN on it, and sell it on. Sounds pretty dodgy to me. Changing the details to read that it is a TT6 could be considered fraudulent, unless it states it was converted.
