  1. I have a cage and harnesses in mine. For the first 12 months or so that i had it, it was only harnesses. The front seat belts were installed with the harness but had to be removed when the bolt in cage was installed as there was not enough clearance. As previously mentioned you can get eye bolts for the side fixings so no issues there. The only compromise might be the fixing points for the shoulder belts. They should be (ideally) as near to the same height as your shoulders. Mine initially were installed to an eye bolt in the rear inboard seat belt fixing. This worked of course but not ideal. Now attached to the cage. If you are worried about road legality and if you don't have a friendly MOT tester you either need to get non FIA approved harnesses with push button release mechanism or very expensive FIA approved push button belts if you remove the stock seat belts. The normal twist to release mechanisms are not MOT compliant. Hope that helps?
  2. I had one of those "solenoids" on my car. It was actually a beeper that sounded every time the car was put into reverse. Just un-plug it and throw it away. I did.
  3. Adam, at last you seem to have come to your senses! Keep it dude and use it. Like Johnny says if someone makes you an offer worth accepting............
  4. More like feel them as you try to get to sleep and the ground shakes every time they pass! Happy days! Liking the V8 Paul. Now for the turbo kit.....
  5. I think Daz had just done the fuel pump and all the engine was in. Liking the bling vacuum pipes!
  6. I hope this doesn't end in a Big Bang when the gearbox pops!
  7. Sweet, saw this on Tuesday when I popped in to see Paul. Glad you are happy.
  8. Take a look at the project blue Ridox thread. Why lower the APR. I love the way it sits so high and doesn't impede the view in the mirror.
  9. When one of my rear bearings went there was no movement, just a grumble. Was checked out by Paul Whiffin and a replacement hub solved the problem. So it was the bearing.
  10. Not an obvious choice, but consider white wheels.
  11. I got my Driftworks one as it is what SteveL used on his race car. There is no play at all as previously mentioned and over a year later its as good as new.
  12. No, if you bolt the wheel to the boss it will safe. Just remove the complete quick release system. If there is play in it you should bin it anyway and get a Driftworks one as per your other thread.
  13. Just remove the quick release as you say for the MOT.
  14. No play at all and as JP says the stalks are a bit if a reach, but manageable once you get used to it. Had mine on for over a year now.

  18. My speedo is miles per hour with distance still in KM
  19. Paul, take it from me, the Mercs might be great value, but for a reason! I have a C250d estate that is 16 months old and has been back to the dealer for 3 unscheduled visits! An engine oil gasket went after 2 weeks, then the Dpf filter after 12 months, then a turbo pipe 2 months later! Pretty poor for a 25k mile car that lists at £36k with the extras! Never had anything so poor. In fact the company are so fed up I am ordering a new car this week and we will hand this back once it is 18 months old. It will be an A4! My Sup is now tucked up for the winter too.
  20. Well, don't want to be Billy no mates so guess no Supras tonight!
  21. Not sure if I will be free, but if I am I will be there.
