  1. Where's Harold? Bet he's trying to find a supplier right now.
  2. For the right money I will be whatever you want, although my wife and teenage son can NEVER find out...
  3. If Ryan has given you a recommendation, I would go with that.
  4. Your village is looking much better Steve.

A few have done V8 conversions on here. Paul at Whifbitz could be a good source as he has recently built one. Welcome by the way
  6. Just get a couple of lengths of wood off a pallet. Cut them into a short, medium and long piece and the screw them together. I made 2 sets, keeping one and we used the other set when Stevel was racing his sup. The longest piece is about 2 feet, the middle one 18 inch and the short one 12 inch. I'm sure you can get hold of an old pallet?
  7. I stick by what I said. I also believe that if you are offering a service to the club then you should make a commitment to offer insurance to every member. You can always adjust the premium accordingly. To flatly refuse to offer insurance is a joke and I guess when I get asked the question "Have you ever been refused insurance" I am now telling a lie if I say no? I don't live in Manchester, about 25 miles away in a BB postcode. The car has a recognised immobiliser with certificate and is always garaged unless being driven or worked on. I am over 40 with a clean licence and maximum no claims. On my recent renewal I contacted 5 other companies who were all able to offer me cover with no issues. My actual policy is underwritten by Aviva, one of the largest insurance companies out there. You can pick and choose as you wish, no skin off my nose. You will never get any business from me and I will actively encourage others to look for alternatives if the question arises.
  8. I made some simple wooden ramps just high enough to get the trolley jack under the car. With a set of axle stands I reckon it cost about £15, the cost of the axle stands!
  9. Great to see this shell going to a good home. I put some of those stickers on, so you defrost have to keep them! If you plan to do any competitive events I'm sure Whiff will find away to help you whilst still removing the contents of your wallet, lol. Good luck with build.
  10. Sweet sound good. We have a small place about 20 minutes away, but they offer a free taxi service so bring on the beeeeeeeeeer! Saying that, I think you owe me beer ;-)
  11. Yep, Me, SteveL and PeterP. All booked. Getting old. No tents this year for us!
  12. Don't agree about Le Mans. Yes the Diesel Audis are quiet but the Ferrari 458's hurt my ears last year and the Corvettes are immense with their ground shaking thunder. The sports prototype 2 are also very loud.
  13. Why don't we see if we can do something at the Toyota factory at Burnaston near Derby? Right next to the A52.
  14. They wouldn't insure me due to my postcode! Kn*bs. Competition car for me as I can do whatever I want to the car and it doesn't change the premium!
  15. Just go get more trophies Barnett ;-)
  16. Ha ha. You will succumb to the dark forces at work!
  17. Ha, I know what you mean and I am the other side of 40! The wife laughed at me when she saw the APR for the first time and the amount of attention it got was incredible. Now stock again to be slightly more inconspicuous. It's gone to a younger home.
  18. You could always pm Kirk on here. He may be able to help you if you are stuck.
  19. Might be prepared to do a swap if you have a full air box? I have some plans for next year that mean I need to go back back to stock induction. I have a non branded front mount with all the pipework and an induction kit with both K&N or HKS filter to choose from. Would need your entire kit in exchange and you would need to source a PAS cooler. Pm me if you are interested, the car is sorned at he moment so should be able to get the bits off soonish and also in Northampton frequently so can deliver!
