  1. That will be the problem then !!!! Back soon
  2. Think I might need to build my castle first? Can find you all but no option to join. Or am I just being thick?
  3. Can I join the clan? Only been playing for a few days. supramia is my name, I see its invite only!
  4. I can vouch for the sealant used by Whifbitz. I have had no issues with my exhaust fitted by them using the Loctite stuff for the seals.
  5. Let me know if you sell the air box ;-)
  6. Hope you had a good time. Something came up at work today and didn't finish until 9! sorry I missed it.

    New

Welcome Jim. We have a NW meet Wednesday night in Preston if you are interested? Where a outs in Lancs are you? Good to have another NWest Sup in the club.
  8. Will do my best. Shouldn't be a problem. See you there.
  9. CCI great if you have loads of mods. Just tell them its a rally car.............. Just received my renewal from them.
  10. No plans yet but sold the APR wing to raise funds for a set of KADs coming soon. Watch this space
  11. Could be up for this depending on when and where. Probably not in the Sup though.
  12. Before painting try some of that Armourall (Sp?) back to black stuff. Mine was looking very poor so tried this and it came up a treat. Car not used much and over 12 months later still looks ok. Might be worth trying a small area to see what you think as it will be a pain to remove it if you go down the paint route later.
  13. I had the same issue last year. Swapped the master first but this didn't solve it so then the slave. All good after that.
  14. I think some people should have studied a bit harder when they were at school to understand where the decimal point should be
  15. Pm SteveL as he has one for sale out of his race car that was running 750ish BHP.
  16. Looks like I will have to give this a miss due to a family bereavement. The wife's great aunt at the ripe old age of 102, so not a shock to anyone. Looks like this might be the date for the funeral. Have a beer in her memory!
  17. Nearly 44 with 12 years no claims. £550 for fully comp all mods declared. Interestingly the renewal was £300 cheaper than the first year! With CCI.
  18. Paul at Whifbitz might be worth a try, though his NA manifold has been coming for a long time and not sure when it will be ready.
  19. A seat belt will stop forward motion of your right or left shoulder and your waist. It does not stop lateral movement of your shoulders and you could easily bend sideways. With a full harness you do not have the ability of lateral movement as your neck will get in the way! In a roll over accident the distortion of the roof could push your head and therefore your upper body to one side. With a std seatbelt your body could move. It's extreme and I drove my car with harnesses for 18 months without a cage and never once gave it a second thought. Would still be doing it now if a cage had not come up at the right price.
  20. Nice purchase. Steve told me that you had bought them earlier. Looking forward to maybe seeing you in action next year and Paul and Steve will testify that I am good at applying Time Attack vinyls and cleaning windscreens between sessions (lol) if you need a hand up North!
  21. I have 5 point harnesses Initially the rear was installed like this But now the cage is in like this The 5th point is to a new eye bolt under the seat. Yes they can be a pain and many will say not to have them without a cage, but it always puts a smile on my face when I put them on. They can be a pain when reaching forward but have the shoulder straps set so you can loosen them off with one hand by lifting the locking mechanism with one hand and then leaning forward with the relevant shoulder.
