  1. It's so long since I drove mine I may be wrong, but iirc my BPU sits at around 1200 on cold start and drops to 800-900 after a minute or two.
  2. That's easy. Used to be called Burma and to the East of India! Shall I pm you my address for the Haribo?
  3. Hi Zwe, yes I think the first from Myanmar! Welcome to the club and we love pictures so show us your car :-)
  4. Sted really looks after his cars so it would have been immaculate when he moved it on.
  5. Looks clean enough, but no mention of service work done in the UK since its been here. Saying that N/A engines are cheap as chips if you did have an issue. I guess it boils down to if you like the styling and wheels and then having a proper look at. Looking at where it is there are a few knowledgeable members around there who might be able to help or possibly Jurgen at JM Imports could inspect it for fee? Dont quote me on that and I have no idea if Jurgen even does this sort of thing so could be talking utter tosh ;-) just that I saw it was Newcastle way from the phone number.
  6. Good luck, nice to meet you yesterday!
  7. If I'm going Martin, I'll pick you up :-)
  8. Yep, Paul at Whifbitz is your man for Rotas.
  9. Depending on when exactly we do this I will try a bit harder to be there. Won't be in the Sup though as not Motd or Taxed.
  10. Just seen this mod edit. I was not meaning to tout our wares, but offer a professional alternative to some of the cheaper options given and would have done it at cost price. It was intended in the spirit of the club but can understand why it has been moderated. Please accept my apologies for this lapse in concentration.
  11. Sure it's just water. I think it's more noticeable with the side exits. I had a "moment" last year after I had the tyres swapped on the driveway in the rain. It steamed forever and the next time I started it too. A good blast to get the exhaust nice and hot and all was well again. By the way, I can't believe how quiet the side exits are on tickover once the system is nice and warm.
  12. What he said. Same when I had my rears done.
  13. Wouldn't mind having a go at that. On a frozen lake with no trees around of course!
  14. Mine is the same. If you sell just show the prospective purchaser the km ticking up on the test drive.
  15. As far as I know it is advised to change the hub flange if changing the bearing. Sit down when you get the price for them. When I had a bearing go I got a replacement hub from Keron. Ok, I know there is no guarantee how long this will last but was very cheap compared to getting a bearing pressed out, new one pressed in and changing the flange!
  16. Edit: beaten by Listy Would suggest you speak to Whibitz. They have a range of exhausts in stainless and titanium with different diameters and choice of number of silencer boxes. Paul will recommend the right one depending on the level of noise you want.
  17. Might even have car out of hibernation by then!
  18. Doubtful I will be at this one. Hopefully next month.

    Whoops!

Full throttle has a red jspec bumper available in the for sale section if that helps. Sorry to see this, hope your up and running again soon.
  20. Always a danger the tyres could have gone out of being round if it has been sat for a while. This has happened to me before.
  21. Just in case people were wondering, this is near Nantwich in Cheshire. What do you reckon North Westerners, one for us?
