  1. You can always try T-Cut. I had a mate who used this to polish out scratches on the clear plastic visor/cowling on his motorbike. Worked perfectly.
  2. 3.0" will flow better than a 2.5" obviously. I actually went from a 3.0" to 2.5" when I changed my exhaust and had to play with the boost controller to get it back up to 1.2 bar due to the decreased flow. At BPU I don't think you would see much difference. Over BPU and it may effect exhaust temps I guess?
  3. Good job, why dont you bring it along to NW meet tonight so we can see it in person! 7:00pm at the M&C parbold
  4. Yeah, but he said he wanted a single. Step back behind the (advertising) line!
  5. Lhd Aero TT. That's one pricey car. Welcome and show us pictures, we like them.
  6. Would think a lot more difficult on pre facelift due to the shape. On per facelift the lights stand proud whereas on facelifts it is almost flush.
  7. Yes I do and they look great, even if I say so myself! Hope those help?
  8. Not sure whether KAD are still trading? I heard a rumour they had gone. I guess you will know if the fit with your wheels once you get them on.
  9. I think you should save yourself the hassle and swap them for the pre facelift ones I just removed. Call it payment for courier services. Coats on and I've already left.......
  10. Not yet........... Just trying to check it all out;-)
  11. Yep but only £70 or so. Having gone from 265 Falcons to 285 R888 the difference on the rear is huge. You may also need wider rims, I have 9" front and 10" rear. As has been jokingly said, a few hundred on driver training will probably be the best investment!
  12. After the recent thread about how much attention your car gets I'm sure the APR wing is weaving it's magic! Filling up at the local Shell garage on Sunday morning this 50 ish year old wanders over and spent 10 minutes talking to me about the car. Good job the garage was quiet! Anyway he gets into a 997 GT3RS and blasts off! Really nice guy and what you would expect, not at all looking down on me or condescending. Maybe it's a Northern thing? What about you?
  13. M5W (Mike) is selling some part worn Toyo 888, they might help. Recently put some of these on and the grip over std tyres is immense.
  14. Buy SteveL's Giken diff. He reckoned it was worth getting on for a second a corner. Some of that may have been extra confidence though.
  15. Quick question guys, I have a J-spec TT and wondered if I would see any benefits from 264 cams and if they will cause any issues with the stock fuelling and ecu? Ta. Edit: I did a search but couldn't find anything. Disclaimer- it was on my phone!
  16. As spiked jack said, I also use my boost controller. Safer to have the restrictor ring at something 1.1 bar and use the boost controller to get to 1.2 Greedy Profec B 2 is what I have. As far as other Gauges go I have an AFR coming and will be adding EGT, water temp, oil temp and oil pressure. Just need to work out where the EGT will go as want to keep my vents. AFR in place of the clock, with oil and water under the stereo. Have seen pictures of a gauge below the ciggy lighter before, so that may be where the EGT goes. Was looking at a screen to do all but will probably have to go with budget gauges for now.
  17. Started putting together an in car bit of audio earlier but ran out of time. Will get it finished when I get home later in the week
  18. Not 100% on the wheels at the moment, but at least they detract from the small brakes! Once the lip is on, brakes are changed and a few gauges installed I will make a decision and if required ship them off to Ibrar.
  19. I guess £80 - £100 is about right.
