  1. LOL, the kid has all the crowd going to that! If some idiot pulled up in a petrol station with that music playing from his car the same crowd would be inclined to tip the thing over lol.

    Flamin' 'eck Vera!

Would always be nice to know the root causes of such incidents to iron out any possible dangerous design flaws etc. The F50 is one of my all time favourite cars, far ahead of some modern exotica. The damage to that, whilst apears to be repairable, certainly is quite extensive. The suspension also seems like its been thoroughly screwed.
  3. The mobile repair folks like chipsaway etc will sort that without empyting your purse.
  4. This is the closest I can find. A 360PS (about 350bhp) Supra TT 6 speed vs the new V8 M3 with Sabine Schmitz.
  5. for home DIY etc, i use evostick's 'sticks like sh!t' adhesive. I can recommned that for bonding, but as mentioned above, sure if that area would get hot and if so, how the adhesive would react. Best to get a quality replacement item.
  6. I'm following this thread closely, I have a stock (except cat back s/s exhasut) UK TT. I would like to know exactly which parts I need to go for BPU but I do not want to risk harming the turbo's by whacking the boost upto silly levels. If I could get around 370-400bhp I'd be happy. (Can the UK TT auto box handle this?)
  7. My local MOT station, in a general conversation stated that early cats on 90-95 cars were not reliable enough, as a result they are/should generally be ignored unlike anything after this date where the CATS are strictly tested.
  8. welcome, there are enough fellow members not far from you. Your wife is a lucky lady to have such a car bought for her, beats the usual Clio/Ford Ka 'for the wife' lol.

    Hayfever

will normal honey from sainsbury's not work? I don't where I could get 'local' honey.

    Hayfever

I just got some Loratadine 10mg tablets from Llyods chemist. Used them last year, worked well for me. Llyods do some pretty decent hay fever tablets so may be worth asking if you don't have much joy with your light thingy.
  12. That vehicle looks and sounds stunning. I have seen many shoddy imports sell for this price! Its too cheap! If I didn't get mine I'd be biting your hand off now!
  13. I have the voyager cover from the same company, excellent cover and for £100 someone has got a great deal.
  14. LOL, thats what I was just thinking.... who has the loudest exhaust??? ...... prove it

    Hey Everyone!

welcome, I'm sure you'll be very happy with the twin turbo model, just ensure you maintain it and it will serve you well.

    hello everybody

Best of luck with the search. Just try to be patient as the J-spec cars do come up in manual and to be honest, imo, each one that you like teh sound of, be prepared to travel to view it. Keep an eye on Autotrader, Piston Heads and search the classifieds on this forum on a regular basis and I'm sure you'll find what youa re looking for. Also contact Jurgen of JM Imports (in the traders section of the website), he has a very good reputation and may be able to source what you want quickly. FWIW, I spent over 1 year looking for my UK TT, I can assure you the cars I saw in that time, including j-spec cars the wait for mine was worth it.

    Hi everyone

welcome, as for your alarm, the Toad will be fine, as would any other cat1 system like a Clifford or Cobra. Just make sure its a CAT 1 system and also I would advise on a high security steering wheel lock such as the tried and tested 'dislock'.

    Hi!

Do yo mean you want a full left hand drive conversion as you are looking at buying a right hand drive vehicle? Not sure how big a job it is but i would assume its quite complex as you'd have to move the pedal box, lines/cables etc as well.
  19. I've never seen a chick outside washing and waxing a car, let alone claying lol
  20. very nice car, hope you keep it that way and enjoy it all the same
  21. Hard luck mate... I have been there myself and can appreciate the frustration. Your options to save the car will be either cancel claim (which I did!) or see how much you will get and how much they will want for you to buy the car back and repair it yourself. Should these not be suitable options, I'd shout louder until the money they give you for the value of vehicle is more acceptable.
  22. Personally I'd say stick with the Supra, it looks nice, if it realibale and you know the car etc, stick with it, the styling wont date and the value is likely to hold reasonably strong on these.
  23. I personally always keep my cars for around 5 years. I will never understand people who buy cars and sell them on after a a few months or a couple of years..... The Supra I have owned for a few months now, cannot imagine any reason why I would sell it. IMO its still ahead of its time so its not lacking technology. My Violvo C70 T5 I also cannot imagine selling....... its fast, uber comfy and super economical, had this for 4 years now and love it more than I loved my new BMW M5 many many years ago!
