  1. Paul From Whifbitz just emailed me back. The T5/T6 in staggered 18" will be somewhere around the £2500 mark I wanted to change my Motoria for a Nur Spec R and start working my way towards the likes of a BPU...... better stop going out now I suppose.

    new today

welcome, do you own a supra or are you looking for one/sourcing info etc?
  3. Thanks for the pictures of the wheels on the cars and also thanks to GreenAuto for the nod towards his garage for pictures of the T5 style on his Supra ... very nice! Having looked at the pictures, I think I'll sway towards the T5's upon purchase, it'll will be a tough decision at payment time.
  4. If I was a 17 year old boy racer witha Corsa fitted with those immitation turbo noise gadgets, I'd rather spend the money on this bloke.
  5. Thanks for the info guys. I'll ask Whifbitz to price up a set for me. I can see the appeal of the T6 (i also agree that this will probably suit the car better, may be even in gold) but, the T5 ones just seem to be a bit different to what you'd perhaps normally see.
  6. This is what the T5's look like on a car at an angle;
  7. Thanks, I'd rather spend the money as required once rather than buy something of poor quality and end up buying twice. There are many nasty and poor quality wheels on the market these days, I've always stuck with OE wheels to date so am new to this sort of stuff lol.
  8. Done a search but the only Advan that comes up are those out dated 3 spoke designs. Just bought a few bits from Whifbitz (hoping the Supra will be running by Friday now), but couldn't help looking at lots of bits and pieces to spend money on I currently have 18" BK Racing 555 alloys fitted to my car (see pictures), were on there when I bought it and the OE Supra wheels are now refurbed and stored in the atic. I quite like the look of the Advan AVS T5 and T6 alloys (below). AVS T5 AVS T6 http://www.machiii.net/images/wheels/avs/modelt6big.jpg Has anyone got these fitted to their car, if so are there any pictures that I could see? Also I've never heard of Advan and neither can I seem to find much info about them. Are these a decent quality brand of alloy wheel?

    Detailing

Its always nice to see a good finish after ones efforts, well done. As for products, I use a number of products, different ones for different tasks as some do a better job than others.

    Milk bottles

I used to have 2 lol, not many kids wanted theirs so I used to get it lol - go thats going back some years! Plenty of Milk Floats around Notts each day, looking reasonably stocked up dropping off milk at many houses along my street and others as I leave for work at 5:15am.
  11. what paint do you folks use for painting calipers and where do you get it from? (I'd like some good quality stuff). I'm also in the process of deciding which colour to go for with my calipers, got a full set of stickers in the car that I'm itching to get on it.

    Respray complete

definately looks like it turned out well and it looks good!! Bumper is not my cup of tea but them i'm a boring sod....
  13. could be a typical trade game, price the car over what you will get, accept reduced offers in the region of or above what you wanted in the first place.
  14. Mine has a misfire, main issue is getting a decent mechanic to be able to come out and fix it..... been off teh road for almost a month now and I'm seriously ticked off! would love to have a whizz around a track in it.
  15. lovely pictures, the car looks great, the road trip looks like one of those must do things before you die and your company looks beautiful as well. Hope the rest of your trip keeps going well.
  16. Congrats on your purchase, sounds nice, get the pics up asap.
  17. The number of women that I know that have done this, bumped into somone whose doing better than their current b/f and then eventually ditched their current b/f in the comming months is quite shocking!
  18. 6 months to save for a TT and insurance?? I'd say hold on and save and give youurself a wider playing field to play in come 6 months from now! also that will be nearer xmas too which can be a good time to buy/haggle.
  19. IMO, anything thats of genuine interest as a prospective purchase, go and view it and then decide.

    Hello to everyone

don't rush your purchase, I spent over 1 year looking at private cars and trade cars before I bought mine! Best of luck with the search.
  22. No really a fan of the GTO's, the 300zx TT is a nice bruiser but your money would be safer with a Supra as the 300zx's will have been owned by people who can't afford to run them, so finding a nice one will be hard. £5K is considered the starting price for twin turbo supra territory and you should be able to pick something thats clean and reliable up for around £5-5.5K. However forget about single turb's cars for £5k, those tend to fetch twice that. Also take a look on the classifieds on this website, you may see that suits you. I searched all the adverts/sites (autotrader, piston heads and after 1 year of hunting got my car from a fellow member on this website).
  23. what a cute dog, lol @ the food list
