To be fair that is as nice a Supra as anyone is ever likely to find, the fact that it's an auto will make it a relative bargain. How much would that be worth as a manual?

To be fair, that appears much tidier than most of the cars that come up for sale. Think the asking price is ambitious to say the least, but there's no point aiming low in the current climate.

As above. Will likely need a few £k spending on it, but it would almost certainly be worth the extra investment. Probably being sent to a renowned specialist like Whifbitz or SRD would really help with a potential sale. Would be worth clarifying the mileage and history, that seat is very worn for a low miles car.

Probably worth in excess of £40k tidied up at the moment tbh. Ultimate model for many (not all), low miles, history etc. Would be worth considering a dash swap (I believe these can still be bought new.), and getting the leather looked at by someone who knows their stuff. Baltic is a fine colour, a car of this calibre should be prepared for sale with a good prep, which will make baltic blue look fantastic under the right light.

Not really comparable as the Supra is generally a bespoke car, the R34 is a range of Nissans. RX7 or Z32 would be a good comparison thought.

Except one changes hands for <£50k. The other changes hands for >£1m.

I'm an owner, and I don't think the vastly increased prices are a good thing at all. It has made them much more expensive to run. I'm pretty sure that's how the prices of most second hand things increases though, basic demand vs supply. Supply has dwindled to no more than a handful for sale at any time, and its become vastly more expensive to import one. God forbid if you need a rare piece of trim now ££££££

Sorry to hear that It was scandalous that those jets were retired when they were, they were (and are) still capable jets, and the fleet had just had an expensive round of upgrades to keep them flying longer.

I think £1200 is a bit optimistic tbh, there is a limited market for them as theyre obviously stock bumper only, and they do limit your intercooler choices significantly. That said, I completely agree with the above sentiment, they are one of the nicer optional features. I regret selling mine, though I had little choice at the time. I would probably expect somewhere in the £800 ballpark today. You may see your £1200 though if you are willing to ship to the US.

Is that really what these cars are going for now? Interior needs some work (wheel, dash panels, whatevers hanging out of the dash,) You're going to be another £10k in to do a manual swap capable of handling big power, but thats small change compared to the money it will then cost to tune it. Frankly, of you want a big power car, you are much better off buying a well built one in the first place.

Looks great now If you want to remove those rear quarter tints, can I recommend petrol. (Sparingly, and well ventilated!) Recommended to me by Matt_rr a while back, makes removing the residue much easier than anything else I've tried.

Welcome back!! Cossie is lovely any idea what your plans will be for the Supra? Biggest issue these days seems to be getting the right gearbox - I quite like the look of Grannas racing products, and they're starting to produce a cd009 complete swap kit now, though the T56 magnum is probably the one to go for (especially with your taste for power! )

As stock but with the limiter removed, a tt6 will top 170mph. A BPU will knock on the door of 190. I have seen around that, GPS verified, in my first Supra on a trip to Germany (UK TT auto, BPU, 1.4 bar, emanage, FMIC. Dyno printout at Surrey Rolling Road of 455hp at the crank - think it was just under 400 at the wheels, but this was a long time ago)
