Homer
What about BPU Supra??? as most are? BPU is covered under 'stock'. The categories relate to the turbo (lets face it who has a real stock supra these days ) how about best non supra Do you want a "special" award Rob

Pixelfill
Depends on Auto/6spd too I'd say: Stock Auto TT: 13.8 Stock 6spd TT: 14.0 BPU Auto TT: 13.0 BPU 6spd TT: 13.5 Any better times than that mean good grip or good driver. I'll be aiming for 16s is that a better time Mike
Jezz
Can i just say that for those who dont want to race, we are holding a show and shine competition. With trophies for best modified, best engine bay detail, and best overall club car. Winners of best modified and best engine bay will recieve a trophy along with £50 each to spend with us on servicing/fitting at Silverstone garage or parts at QSD. The club car winner will recieve a trophy and £100 to spend with us. Worthwhile prizes considering the goodies we have coming in next week. letmeshowyou
just out of interest - what is plan B if we don't get enough people signing up to run? Other clubs?
michael
Is there a trophy for most snapped driveshaft? That fully prepared track can cause lots of extra strain...
Branners
just out of interest - what is plan B if we don't get enough people signing up to run? Other clubs? yes, we are waiting until the 15th April and will then make a decision on what the next steps are. We will be looking to a few clubs to fill the spaces, if we dont get enough from those we will expand it out further still. If we want a Supra only day then we need to get a lot more competitors. CRASH HELMETS - they are not enforcing the 100mph limit in any strict manner. If you start running 120mph terminals they will expect a crash hat. My best terminal speed for a BPU running 1.4bar was 113mph, so chances are most BPU cars will be okay. FIRST TIMERS - we will certainly have a quick tutorial on the day. If you cant find anybody to ask about drag racing then just ask for me, Homer or tDR. JB

Mike B
Are you sure about that? I heard this from Terry S on my car.. he said he tried every setting and the one that gave his the best time consistantly was the magic "off" button! still only one way to be sure.... Muffleman
Ah sod it, need to sort my boost map out but paid anyway. Might only do a couple of runs tho, but payment sent - more to support the club really Been to the pod once before, run full weight and tyre pressure. Turns out I was only at about 0.6bar so time was 14secs odd, but 118mph terminal Should be running 1.2bar so be interesting to see how I get on. Kranz
I'll be attending as a spectator (don't think they'd let me drag the car with the 2 year old in the passenger seat ) & selling the club 'merchandise' in my new role. Please find me and say hello/buy stuff!
letmeshowyou
K14 I'm sure my gf (or her children if they come) can look after your 2 year old for a bit while you race... James, you are kidding I take it?!Surely the T70 could get you into the 11's? (even with you driving!!!)
Daston
this is a serious question what sort of things should I check before running (going to be prepping this weekend) is it just coolent level, oil level new plugs etc?
letmeshowyou
I always do an oil change on mine before visiting pod to race (but then, I'm paranoid!) chekcing gearbox oil and tyre pressures prob wouldnt do any harm either.
Daston
ok I should have my new racing harts with new rubber next week so that should be ok and it had a full service around 300 miles ago so all is good. If it all goes wrong then its just an excuse to go single lol
