Liking the footwell lighting Alex

Thanks Adam :)

Looking good Alex, like the footwell LED’s, nice touch.

Also a fan of the Bride trimmed lower glovebox and centre console lid, ties in really nicely with the floor mats.

Thanks Peter, the bride material was all done by Josh the previous owner. The arm rest and rear seats are the same and the original top glovebox had it as well.

I'm liking the footwell lighting too. Is that an OEM option or something aftermarket that you've fitted? How/where do you splice them in to the harness?

I used the oem footwell lighting harness, snipped the old dome (or what was left of them) off, took the new led strips and soldered then to the harness. So if you were to look at it then it just looks oem and is simple plug n play

I see that there are 2 connectors. So where in the car do these connect to?

It connects to the green ignition light that surrounds the barrel, just unplug it there and plug light loom in at both sides to complete the circuit

Great project Alex, when are you spraying it a better colour? Like black :p

Haha cheers mike, wouldn’t want to spray it black....that’s a slower colour than silver after all :p

So yesterday I took part in a photoshoot song with 20 other cars, It was meant to make a rainbow of cars as a thanks for the NHS and key workers over the last few months and to brighten people’s spirits. We had to wait until now to do it due to the restrictions of meeting up and etc...

Looking good mate, nice collection of motors there, think yours was one of the best, but maybe I’m biased? Lol. ;)

Haha thanks buddy, yeah the idea was to get a good variety. Shame the weather wasn’t the best as would have been fun to play against the GTR, it’s only running 480bhp

Not really updated this for a while, I had my heart set on selling up as I wasn’t using the car anymore and I wanted to move onto another JZ platform in the way of JZX100 Chasers. After a few set backs and recent time wasters I’ve decided I’m going to keep it and just build it up to my desired spec and enjoy it again!

I’ve had a few weekends away with some good friends as of late so that’s helped me fell like it did when I first got a supra and enjoyed driving it and the usual “supra smile” came back :D I’ll add below some pictures of the trips below and even another photoshop play as everyone knows how much I like to do that :p
