I added a few "touches" to the car over the years.

 

Some of it I really regret and, for me personally, is quite upsetting to look at.

Jeez, it looks like it's been vandalised :) Are you sure about that wing angle? It must be like dragging a parachute and it seems FAR too steep, it's probably stalling and creating huge drag. Main planes are usually circa 1 to 1.5 degrees positive from the horizontal referenced to ground.

I'm sure that on a wet track with R888 tyres I need all the help I can get Chris!

 

But no, I'm as in the dark about aerodynamics as I am about most things related to going quickly. I just put it to maximum inclination to push the rear down as much as possible.

 

Even Friday, with the track dried out I was still scrabbling for grip in third on the start/finish straight.

 

You hardly have a nice 6' wide GT wing propping open a door do you?

Just done my 2nd "mod" a go faster sticker ;)

Cant remember who said use dental floss to remove the old one, but it works a treat :) then a bit of elbow grease mixed with windowlene and an ice scrapper to get the Gu off!

its bugging me that its a couple of mm high on the left... BUT, its stuck now, so too late ha!

I've one on mine ive no pictures but it says '. I hate tossers who sell club members shitty scuttle panels that dont fit then refuse to refund them'. A bit of a long winded sticker I know bit a good one ;)
