Took you long enough :) Pleased for you - its been a long time coming.

Ryan and Lee had it on the road for a while doing bits. But yeah it certainly has, thanks :)

Congratulations mate that's some impressive results

Thanks mate, that's the setup maxed out as well so everything works in harmony together and no broken gearbox :)

I think it most definitely deserves the srd1000 badge though ;)

That thing will be mentle

just remember to slow down for roundabouts.:)

:p

So, what's it like to drive? :)

Awesome :D A really comfortable car to drive everything works the way it should and the power delivery is phenomenal. That's on mid boost!

Once I sort my rear arches out I'll give it some stick in high boost :)

Awesome mate! Happy for you. Great achievement! Another savage SRD creation :D

Thanks mate :)

Savage result! What a build, would be interesting to see this runner a quarter mile to see how quick it is with this setup!

Abz mate i think even you could win some races in that. LOL

Great result mate.

What's the grip like ?

Thanks guys, 1st gear will always be a problem for grip but as soon as second comes in it hooks.

On a prepped drag strip Ryan thinks it's good for a 9 second pass.

I'll try get some videos at some point :)

Started on the arches today making some clearance.

I've chopped the original arch out now all the way up to where the over finders join the bodywork.

Any suggestions as to bridging the gap between the 2 skins?

You need to weld a plate back in mate and I would not drive it till you have as you will run the risk of cracking the arch and that will be a nightmare for you

Is there no other way other than welding? Like a strong PU mastic or fibreglass?

The last time I welded it the inside of the panel kept catching fire from the coating inside burning off.
