either that or you bring the car down to me when its all down and leave with me. Will need for week or so

(would prefer this route as can get cold start etc perfect)

It's getting the car to you mate - it's a bit of a mission.

I've just spoke to Hodge and it's not a problem to get the pedal and the TB down to you, with the OEM connectors, I did buy two sets of each - to be safe.

Once the car is running, I don't mind bringing it down to you and you can have it for a couple of weeks whilst I'm away :)

This little lot arrived today.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130720&stc=1&d=1303114778

After measuring up, well guessing really, marked out where the hole for the IC pipe was going to go.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130721&stc=1&d=1303114778

I then drilled a series of small holes around the marked area.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130722&stc=1&d=1303114778

Then I used a bigger drill bit to join the holes and remove the disc.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130723&stc=1&d=1303114778

Smoothed around the circle before I added some silicon hose to trim it off.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130724&stc=1&d=1303114778

Pipework mocked up.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130725&stc=1&d=1303114800

All fitted

Going to strip the can covers down tomorrow, as I'm concerned there's a little sand blasting dust in there under the filters and I'm not prepared to take the risk. I'll need to drill the rivets off the filters underneath, remove the filters, clean them out, drill and tap the covers and bolt them back togetherwith a little sikaflex to seal them. Will take me most of the day but I'd rather spend the time, just for piece of mind really.

Been over there today. Stunned at how it looked when Hodge lifted the bonnet up. It was surreal, didn't feel like my car - but in the best way! The car is in hugely safe hands!

Just before I left, the postie arrived with the compressor housings from Mitchel9006. They've come up a treat!

I did leave with Hodge the car, calling the banjo a "f*ckpig" - which is a new one on me!

There will be, that stuff goes everywhere. Its one of the things I hate about powder coating engine parts. Having to clean then out afterwards before you fit them :)

A few pics of what's Been happening over the last few days.

Fitted a smaller PAS cooler.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130729&stc=1&d=1303116400

Then I started on the cam covers. This has to be the worst by far Job I've ever done on a supra. All told it took me 5 hours to strip, clean and reassemble both covers.

After drilling the rivets off and pulling the inner filter from both covers this is what I found.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130730&stc=1&d=1303116400

After a bit of elbow grease

attachment.php?attachmentid=130732&stc=1&d=1303116400

Reasembled.

I drilled and tapped the cover out to M6. Ran a bead of sikaflex around where the filter sits to seal it on and then bolted it down with M6 capheads.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130733&stc=1&d=1303116422

attachment.php?attachmentid=130734&stc=1&d=1303116422

Next came the fusebox. Due to the intercooler pipework it's correct location was no good so it had to be orientated 90 degrees.

I filled all the holes in the back as to not let any water in then bolted it in place.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130738&stc=1&d=1303116447

Next I test fitted the turbo housings and related pipework.

Some fast work there dude, :D Can't be much more to do is there?

Daft question - The fuse box location, is it not out the way? I mean if you need to check fuses etc, is it not a pain in the arse getting to the fusebox?

Brilliant update :D

@Louie - the fuse box is ok, just pop the headlight and check - it's a minor gripe, but the engine bay looks better for it :D

I've positioned the fusebox do when the light comes out there's loads of room to remove the lid. It's only 2 nuts and 1 bolt and a little put lol.
