I've just spoke to Hodge and it's not a problem to get the pedal and the TB down to you, with the OEM connectors, I did buy two sets of each - to be safe. After measuring up, well guessing really, marked out where the hole for the IC pipe was going to go. I then drilled a series of small holes around the marked area. Then I used a bigger drill bit to join the holes and remove the disc. Smoothed around the circle before I added some silicon hose to trim it off. Pipework mocked up. hodge Posted April 14, 2011 Author Share Posted April 14, 2011 Going to strip the can covers down tomorrow, as I'm concerned there's a little sand blasting dust in there under the filters and I'm not prepared to take the risk. I'll need to drill the rivets off the filters underneath, remove the filters, clean them out, drill and tap the covers and bolt them back togetherwith a little sikaflex to seal them. It was surreal, didn't feel like my car - but in the best way! The car is in hugely safe hands! Just before I left, the postie arrived with the compressor housings from Mitchel9006. hodge Posted April 17, 2011 Author Share Posted April 17, 2011 (edited) A few pics of what's Been happening over the last few days. Fitted a smaller PAS cooler. Then I started on the cam covers. This has to be the worst by far Job I've ever done on a supra. All told it took me 5 hours to strip, clean and reassemble both covers. After drilling the rivets off and pulling the inner filter from both covers this is what I found. After a bit of elbow grease Reasembled. I drilled and tapped the cover out to M6. Ran a bead of sikaflex around where the filter sits to seal it on and then bolted it down with M6 capheads. Next came the fusebox. Due to the intercooler pipework it's correct location was no good so it had to be orientated 90 degrees. I filled all the holes in the back as to not let any water in then bolted it in place. Next I test fitted the turbo housings and related pipework. This is how it's looking upto now.
