  1. I'd weld in a piece at each end like this in red to stop air escaping the route of yellow arrows
  2. A smaller area will actually get more air through the cooler, your ducting top and bottom is good but you'll lose a fair bit on each side due to the shallow angles you have and air escaping out the sides.
  3. Mine looked fine but got changed as i bought an almost new one off CW for the right money I had no concerns as i knew CW had fitted the CP and removed it so no risk of it being hammered off etc Mine had done over 100k and around 15 years old
  4. Buy a genuine o/e one, SRD i think were selling o/e ones for quite a good price not long ago
  5. Great work but just wish to add that the ducting possibly isn't as efficient as it could be. I've attached a simple drawing i found explaining why
  6. Where has yours gone ? perhaps a re core is possible but i'd rather buy new which is what i did when mine went.
  7. Never had any problems with mine, are you using o/e pads ?
  8. Toyota are £263 inc vat retail

  13. I paid £30 up in B'ham for a check and re gas, i did the antibacterial treatment myself with a £12 tin from Halfords, turn ac on full recirc mode with windows shut, pop the tin in the footwell and leave till the tin has emptied itself.
  14. I'd bin the HKS filter as they weren't very good at filtering, get a K & N or Apexi on there
  15. You don't need a specialist to service a tt, you just need a good local garage
