  1. The rad should always be full to just under the overflow pipe but don't use water, its getting cold now weather wise and if you fill with water it will do two things, freeze up and cause limescale build up inside the rad etc as well as not helping with corrosion. Get some premix glycol ethylene, forlife or cool red from Toyota approx £20 for 5 litres, you'll need 10 litres to fill an empty system. Halfords also sell a pre mix How old is the rad cap ? i'd replace that first, have you checked for coolant in the passenger footwell, also what state is the rad in and coolant hoses, heater matrix feed pipes are prone to fail when they get old. To get air in the system usually means you have a leak somewhere or the expansion tank is too low to let coolant be drawn back into the system or the rad caps failing
  2. Is it cost effective having them refurbished ?
  3. Sounds like the damper/shock is on its way out
  4. Justin Foden is another name to add to the list
  5. Yep, you only get the arm which comes with the bushes and ball joint already fitted, unless your eccentric adjuster has a worn thread then it should be fine to re use, just remove any surface corrosion before fitting
  6. I'd rather put an LS motor in one if i was going to do it
  7. As long as you can get the eccentric adjuster out of the arm then no you don't need to buy the whole arm, the two adjusters alter caster and camber, i can't remember if they're different so double check which one you need The eccentric adjusters look like this
  8. It might very well be more organised now, back then it was nuts and just a free for all.
  9. No sorry Marc i don't, when i replaced all mine i got the lot off Steve Manley
  10. They have eccentric washers on them and doubt very much a hardware store would have these. I'd get it checked and go find another garage I can't find a supra one but they're pretty much like the one below
  11. I bought mine from Toyota, they're not too expensive and if you only want one i'd buy genuine rather than unknown
  12. I guess you've checked the pressures in them ?
  13. Also had RE050 on my car with no problems
  14. but i guess you can very easily change the boost setting and have 600 or more ? Just tell the facts then you can't have a nasty surprise should the worst happen, thats what i did on my car and even sent them the dyno sheet to show its max hp on max boost. Why risk a £30,000 ? car for a few ££'s of insurance premium
  15. When i did my car i sent a list of everything that wasn't o/e then you have no concerns should the worst happen

    Car Value

Have you got an agreed value policy ? i used to have to send my broker high quality photos of my car from both sides, front and back, interior and engine bay and list the mods and cost to get the agreed value.
  17. It will blow out lots of Black smoke so sounds like its going to be over fueling like a like lot of the cheap stuff does.
  18. Thanks Lee, i found them earlier but didn't spot you were one of their agents I just gave them a call and the lady i spoke to actually recommended me not to fit their box !!! Quite shocked at her honesty
  19. Perhaps he just missed it same as mine, i'd imagine it's easily done if your very busy !
  20. When you say module i guess you mean these little boxes that plug into the common rail and control the injectors. They all seem to talk them up to giving amazing gains but vary massively in price, are they really any good or is that the big unknown as i cant find any answers on the net.
