I’ve bought a few spares to keep me going over the years, but there’s a fair bit of competition these days for parts. As mentioned above, smart move if you are keeping the car/cars long term.

If you are after top dollar for your Sup in years to come, and that’s the end goal after ownership then stick to the factory equipment. I love my TT6’s, nice and fun at stock levels on the twistys and great fun/all rounder at BPU, but then again I don’t have a hankering for more power than I can handle by going single. Still agree that the prices as of late for these boxes have been inflated a bit too much, but I guess that’s the current trend.

It’s actually sat assembled on the skeleton of the Supra’s underbody components .

You might struggle to find a place that’s willing to disassemble and rebuild your box with the new sychros here in the UK. £4K for a box that needs them doing might not be the most cost effective move. I remember picking up a V161 in 2004 for £500 , how times have changed.

Just as a heads up as I know you are looking at sourcing a Supra at some point, please note that you will be granted access to post in the classifieds sections once you have paid the membership fee, which is £10 for a years access. You will also be able to PM potential sellers once the membership has been purchased. Less of the serious stuff , please feel free to get in touch if you want to have a look at a Supra up close, I would be happy to take you for a spin once the car is back on the road .

Faye I’d say your UK spec is probably worth £22.5 - £25k, valuation purposes I can see why putting up £30k would make sense. The Facelift Aerotop, I would value at around £14k.

I hope they both pull through their injuries, looks very nasty on the passenger side. Cars can be replaced as we all know. I’m glad I tucked my cars away, for my own safety.

I have seen a fair few decent cars in the island over the years, in Limassol last year I was walking down the street and a R34 Nur and Red Supra were just sat in the car park , same owner I later found.

I’ve not heard of the B04B before buddy, as Mika said the B04D was the large case UK/EU diff with a cooler. B03B was the Manual J-spec TT Large Case Diff A02B was the Auto J-spec TT Small Case Diff
