I cant remember but I think it was something to do with the position of where you have the piston that caused this , think you have to put the seal on the piston then push it all the way down with the boot on then put the ring on, if the piston is up abit it would cause the boot to curl at the calliper . Or that might have been the old ones that had perished i do remember something though

Toyota told me directly ( steve manley ) not to split them the inside of your pots don't look right on one of them pictures looks to be flaking or something ? you have probably seen this but i will link it http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?244873-uk-brake-refurb&highlight=brake can see from my pictures but all my pots where completely smooth

  9. I'm glad your updating the temps , as i cant remember the correct temp but your on the right corse as i done mine from a previous method and worked well
  10. if your auto then you want to get a radiator with a transmission cooler / heater regardless of brand. i know Toyota do them

  13. what about if you select 1st does it move then? might benefit a call to David P
  14. the high pitch noise sounds like the alternator if I'm honest. as for the air lock try and do it on a hill or jack up so the rad cap is highest
  15. Have you checked your loom pins sometimes a leaking cam cover let's oil run down to the ecu plugs which can cause high resistance .

  17. i still don't see build threads and helpful stuff on face ache i have joint a few sites too, prefer it hear being the thread is a conversation about the title and talk about related items
  18. rob still managed to crash it though is my point, show car or not respect the beast other wise it might end up in oblivion pieces , did you see what i done there would hate for all that effort to be in vain that's all bud
