Thanks Chris You don't have to change them but if you want your can to run correctly , you will have to change them like 90% of owners have had too over the years , put it this way I'm on my 5th turbo,3rd fuel pump, 3rd set of injectors , 3rd intercooler , 2 crank pulley , 2 set of coils , 2nd set of coil clips ,2nd cam sensor probably 4th battery 3rd set of wheels and 10th set of tyres. all things have a life and it looks like your coils or clips have passed theres

no this is due to the resistance through a bad connection,as the demand becomes more for the spark it cant deliver the current/ signal to coil too spark in time causing misfire http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?61141-How-To-Refurbish-coil-pack-connectors

Could be a coil pack / clips if that's the case . So if you run low boost ie 0.7 it's fine and goes to the red line

just see you say that the afr are really rich when this happens , that would indicate misfire as the fuel is not burn and comes out the exhaust but still need to go one step at a time ,

unplug the boost controller and run off wastegate and see dude , update the thread if you find the problem though also the stock ecu can fail causing gearbox issues

if the problem is the same as before , we can surmise that its not box related , that being said there could be a damaged wire in the loom ? i have also seen similar behaviour from badly fitted FCD how its your ecu clamping the boost to the stock ecu. is it the same every gear even in neutral? is it the same with different boost loads?

can you get to the redline in anyway ie no boost, to fault find you will need to put the fuse back in so you know its not causing another issue and work from there, when did it start happening was anything changed at that point?

i just had a quick look and could be related to the neutral switch you may also want to check aristo vs supra pin outs on the autobox as they maybe different. can you get it to the red line ie put it in gear and go slowly to the redline

why is your traction control flashing , is that due to the fuse being pulled? do you still have the limit problem with the fuse still in? i have seen threads like this in the passed try and search 5k rev limit I'm not sure what the out come was but remember seeing many of them

I liked how my mrs ford focus sounded , so swiftly went to the local breakers and got a set of twins like above for £10 . its a shame i don't get more people to beep at

yep yourself as said the hardest bit is the 3 1st cat bolts , they are often seized , its just nuts and bolts simplest of tech out there . i pretty much done a single turbo conversion over 2 weekends

how many years has this been your setup I'm surprised you can still hear lol. imho ditch the subs , amp + screens and down size and go for a more suttle look , if you lie the sound then hide it all under the tray / blind thing

don't be suckered in its a double bluff, government say buy diesel everyone does they loose loads of revenue,then they say buy petrol to boost it as you just don't get the same mpg, next they will say they was wrong again mining and disposing of batteries is far more detrimental to health buy a diesel. all jokes aside a denigrator engine that's makes the power to run a electric motor is more efficient then forward momentum
