No ac for Supra’s then. dam it

Gutted for you. I had this happen last year by the grace of god I didn’t bounce of a curb. Hopefully it’s not to bad to repair and replace

I have multiple heating methods. first off is the oil boiler a new blue flame combi. I paired this with a tado system on all the rads. It will only fire to rads needing heat instead of all the rads. This has resulted in huge savings. I have a 7kw log burner in the living room. It’s so good it more or less heats the whole house. Wood is 60 quid a ton. Working with the tado my heating rarely comes in and when it does it’s just to heat a bedroom. All tados are set to 15 no higher. I also have two air source heat pumps. The bedroom one and living room one are set to come on an hour before up time. This warms it up before I light the fire. The heating hot water is about 1000 per year based on oil being 89p a ltr. In covid it went to 20p!!! my electric was 350 per quarter. Everything in the house is hue bulbs on timers and scheduled. I also invested in a heat pump tumble dryer and a rated appliances. next year I will look into solar and battery storage

They wont touch me for less than 390. I dont know why maybe the engine swap? Apparently as soon as you go over 25k agreed they add 10%

Not keen on doing burn outs at 42. to be fair I don’t think I’ve ever done one… my cars getting smoke tested a few days before it might be back. But as I said I will hard pass on the burn out

So had an interesting one. My second turbo stopped working unless under heavy acceleration, when it did come in it would almost clunk and make back pressure exhaust pops. needless to say two loads of this and it was off road until I found the issue as I didn’t want to stress tubby 1. my first thoughts where vsv or hose but nothing was off. I searched here and found the following “Just to add to this incase it helps anybody else. When I bought my supra a couple of years ago off an old boy who didn’t really push it the second turbo wasn’t coming online. I replace as many vacuum pipes as I could at the time and still had the same issue and I think as mentioned above I gave the EBCV valve some lube and manual movement and it boosted perfectly from then on” so i attempted to find and move the offending part. Needless to say it didn’t want to move. Consulted @Mike2JZand @mwilkinson got the small flat pry bar and spayed it down. It was very crusty but soon was moving free to the point I could move it by hand. Took her out and it was working perfectly. will leave this here incase anyone else has the same issue.

Investigation of my slightly warm wheel has turned up a sticky brake on the rear. The piston isn’t playing ball. so I ordered this and it turned up a day later will fix it next week

You talking to someone that took a dremel to his wings and bonnet. Only to then blend his body kit on and lose the rear bumper seam. Stock is over rated............
