  1. Can you imagine the backlash if they ever tried to deliberately release a Virus to stop another one. People wont take a vaccine let alone be fine with allowing "bill gates" to infect them.
  2. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/anti-vaxxer-who-called-covid-25859072 A well-known anti-vaxxer who refused to get jabbed claiming the virus was 'just a common cold' has been hospitalised with Covid. Despite doctors saving his life John, from Milton Keynes, Bucks, complained that the hospital's food was "appalling" and "all tasted the same". He then discharged himself from hospital against doctors' advice. John said: "I feel very fortunate to have escaped hospital (I never dreamt I would have lived to say that) with the help of family and friends. "The sinister whispering, the secrecy and the guilty looks amongst certain members of staff spoke volumes to me. "It was honestly very chilling and traumatizing just seeing how it has changed – especially when I asked to leave." He also urged his followers not to go to hospital if they catch the virus. He told followers of his Telegram message board to avoid hospital 'at all costs' and said that going into ICU was 'the most horrific and frightening experience of my life'. So he goes to ICU as he has covid, they help him to get over it then he urges people not to go.
  3. No new restrictions, going for herd immunity then. I wonder how the Welsh and Scottish will respond.
  4. Im well out of the game regarding prices. If i sell which i have been saying for years and years it will be down to parts or lack there of. @mwilkinson is doing a nut and bolt rebuild more or less might be worth taking a look at his build thread for ideas on bits to replace. Mine has had a rebuilt engine, bushes, all rubber hoses replaced. And still failed on a ball joint which lucky for me a breaker had in stock. It was used to get it though MOT and now i can send my old one off to be refurbed. I was quite smug i had future proofed my car alas not. If you go down the rebuild route do it all would be my advise. Or sooner or later the 25 year old bit of rubber will break. If your doing it for investment, then id suggest that maybe getting a clean stock car and rebuilding that would get more money in the future?
  5. Omicron getting rid of Delta is a huge win. If the data carrys on the way its going this could be over in a few months.
  6. 35k for a left hander? thats crazy. Just head over to Ebay.com and see the prices of left hand drive cars. Be really interesting to see what country it came from EDIT its a BMW M3 box thats going to hurt it
  7. O ok sorry anti covid vaxxers. Yeah matching into a test center and smashing it up throwing medical equipment in the bin deserves a water cannon IMO. if you don’t want to test don’t, but don’t stop others. Look at the grin on the ladies face as she takes it all out. protest all you like don’t take the jab all you like…. Don’t try and stop others by smashing it up….
  8. Have you seen the video? Or would you like me to link it? Or are the actors? https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/vaccine-piers-corbyn-milton-keynes-b1984388.html piers corbyn is an anti vaxxer? His supporters are to, they even have signs in that crowd? how on earth is this fake news?
  9. https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-police-appeal-for-information-after-dozens-of-anti-vaxxers-protest-at-testing-site-12505943 Yup smiling all the way as they trashed the site. Shame they dont allow water cannons.

    Indoor heating

Have you looked into a tado system? Mine is all wired up so it only fires rads that ask for heat. The result is i can set one room to be toasty while the others stay off. If you want one room to stay hotter it should work really well rather than asking the boiler to heat the whole house all the time. I must be saving a small fortune to
  11. A local shop owner just stopped me and my disabled son from entering his shop as my son can’t wear a mask. I was wearing mine of course. He seemed to think it was ok as he would serve us outside? Needless to say I told him where to stick it.
  12. Seeing the value of these cars now? A few extra pence per litre is a no brainier. Since i put my TT lump in ive only ever ran Tesco or shell. Back when it was a N/A and you couldnt give those engines away i probably would have attempted to run it on chip fat.
  13. Scotland think differently, so if this is all part of the global plan people are braking ranks..
  14. Seems we are not going to do anything. Let it rip and hope for the best. I wonder how the “it’s all about control” people square that. They had the perfect time to gain said control and passed it up.
  15. The answer is 34. Im going to be honest the only thing i understand on that is the hammer.
  16. Well I watched a lot of the videos of that guy since I’ve been on this thread. Hopefully he is correct in everything he’s saying. I suspected he was anti Covid it’s just a cold type. However his early videos showed he’s not. With 100k a day and no restrictions this will be the end of Covid just remains to be seen at what price.
  17. I think It’s already to late for measures to be affective I have no doubt recorded infections will top 100k today. I also think part of them wants to let it go in an attempt to gain herd immunity. It’s a big gamble to take but each day they don’t do something makes it more likely they are taking it. It still crazy how it’s affecting people. My sister in law has it…. Headache. Friends mate. hospitalised.
  18. Good old days of buying Uk specs for 5k I know of one Uk 6 speed going to France for 10k it’s owner then brought a 350z with the money…
  19. The first person in Britain to die after catching Omicron was an anti-vaxxer pensioner who refused the jab after becoming convinced it was part of a Government conspiracy to control the population having been brainwashed online, his stepson claimed today. John said his stepfather had died in hospital on Monday, around a week after being admitted. He said: 'He started to look good but went downhill just like that. He wasn't able to speak, he was scared. I think if you're in hospital, having 80% oxygen fired at you, you would regret it (not having a jab) wouldn't you. I would. He was fit. He ate healthy, he didn't smoke and didn't drink in 30 years'. Early 70s. Of course there is never going to evidence that a vaccine or 3 would have saved him. But at 70 you would think your self preservation would kick in
  20. From what im reading more or less. Some confusion over the loss of taste tho. On different note i ventured onto the daily mail comments page today. So far covid is about Smuggling in the green agenda via Ending the use of cash Distracting from Boris eating cheese Bill gates, still have no idea on this one if anyone can tell me why gates is behind all this im honestly interested in it. And since France banned us, its all about brexit with a side option of its to stop us controlling the immigrant crossings As i dont know anyone personally that believe in any of the above i wonder if the subsets of people disagree with each other. What i mean is on the protest marches are they all there as one big force or do they bicker with each other over what they think is going on.
  21. As I said above COVID won’t kill most people for 6 to 8 weeks. To continually claim no one here is dead is fine but the real affects will show mid jan. Im slightly amused that everyone’s jumping on the South Africa said it’s fine. My whole understanding of the virus and vaccine is based multiple countries using their own scientific teams to evaluate the situation. If everyone decides it’s mild and let it rip though then fair enough. One country saying it not so much. Didn’t work to well with China. Do people really want our government to take that chance? Makes no odds to me to wear a mask vs South Africa being wrong as the results would be horrific. To put it in car terms it’s like seeing the orange low oil light come on. It’s not red? Could be a leak? Probably be ok? That one guy said it would? Then still driving the 100 mile round trip. personally I hope your right and they have over reacted I would take zero pleasure in the other option. *edit* I see France don’t subscribe to the “it’s fine” view and have now put us on the red list, I’m sure it’s just to distract from boris eating cheese.
  22. We all best hope that some of the people here are right, todays press briefing was grim. Highest number of infected ever hospital admission ticking up in london. Witty seems to think this is going to be really bad.
  23. The issue is COVID takes 6 to 8 weeks to kill you. Hopefully they are right and this is Mild. However we won’t know until new year. At the rate of infection if even 2 percent end up needing hospital some doctors will be deciding who to treat. I still remember the scenes in Italy and India.
  24. Could be worse could be in Scotland. Not sure they are keen to help cover up a tory party but old nick has moved even further. What amuses me is she knows how utterly disastrous i would be to try and impose xmas restrictions so until xmas eve dont meet more than 3 familes per day. Then xmas eve day and boxing day do what ever you want, then back to the 3 again. If you are going to do at least have the balls to do it right or dont do it at all
  25. I dont think its because they dont like the outcome per say i think if it had gone the other way they may well of done the same As i said i dont know why they care one way or another. However i can see them looking at that and deciding its way to much of a dynamite question for crappy morning tv. The israel poll was very close to. They dont want to touch that with a 10 foot pole. Id guess someone allowed it on, they saw the way it was going panic ensued at the thought of having to do a serious conversation about it so they pulled it and hoped it would go away. For example today's poll was "is it cruel to dress up a dog" hard hitting news right there.
