  1. Well - it is like posting on a pure IT geek forum how funny an EFMIC is - I posted no1boyracers shennanigans to a friend and he just didn't get it ... some of those guys don't do cars - we find it funny... they look at you with WTF expressions. It is just what you know and live with. To a huge net user base those things are funny.
  2. And .. oh Christ - if you weren't aware of the Chuck Norris phenomena... loool Seriously! Is it really only the geeks that get this I could have sworn everyone got the Chuck Norris bit The register or El Reg as it is affectionately known in some circles... love the tongue in cheek way it reports everything P.S. 1337 ... again... if you don't know what it means/is you never were meant to (Didn't you ever watch Hackers?)
  3. I always thought trolling was named after a contraction of patrolling - trolling - which lends itself neatly to the image of a nasty lil fecker (like the fuqqer that was under the bridge in Billy Goats Gruff ) fishing for attention/feedback and just being mean - Troll. Never thought of traul - troll... I guess it could work You get messages after people post aggressive responses to such trolling messages as - "Don't feed the troll and maybe he'll move along". /. is pretty funny on times
  4. That is likely the biggest dog I have ever seen! I think you were spot on to give him the advice you did. I am always nervous when it comes to dogs + kids. I cannot even begin to imagine the damage one of those would cause from a "get lost I'm fed up" snap. Owning one of those dogs would be like owning a mountain lion! Ill advised unless you own a wildlife park and have trained staff on site I think I too will be sticking with the cat!

    2 down, 7 to go

If the police get wind of a Muslim fundamentalist plot to do something nasty - what are they supposed to do? Round up Welsh Jews? Pick me up? WTF? Everyone knows that it is unfortunate that some of these sick f*ckers that feel the need to do terrible things happen to be Muslim, it doesn't mean that they are picking on Muslims for no reason - it means those guys with the guns/bombs/bad attitudes are f*cking it up for everyone else This country is very much fed the f*ck up with the race card and the sectarian card being played every five minutes, aggravated by the feckin media spin on things. GAAAAH! If there is a serial rapist on the loose in an area, they tend to round up all the men in those areas for testing - doesn't mean they are picking on anyone - it is just an identified group that the bad bastard may be in!!! They won't all be the rapist, or even related to - do they piss and moan? Guys arrested in dawn raids all the time for various reasons (arms/drugs) - they never make the news. Get over your f*ckin selves jesus!!! Sorry Imi - not aimed at you buddy
  6. LOOOL, thanks for pointing the flaw out 0.206

    Keys!!

I actually do suspect that it is pickable I will seriously be offering the lock up to my bro that has over the past few weeks really gotten into this kind of thing - he keeps trying to think of new challenges. I think he has picked about 8 different styles of locks (padlocks, double glazed door locks, chubb style, D-Locks) reproducibly with his shiny set of lock picks he purchased from the US I think there were some YouTube vids that inspired the purchase. I was quite shocked at what he was able to do in under 2 minutes to a supposedly secure newish double glazed multi claw locked door!
  9. I believe so I get an eerie blue glow from there only when my lights are on

    Keys!!

Another thought; due to insurance requirements all supras will have at very least an immobilizer I believe (In fact for imports isn't it a cat 1 thatcham approved jobby or they won't consider insuring you?). Had my funky new TRD branded shiny key cut today, works fine I will ask my brother to pick my ignition when I next visit him, he appears to be hooked on lock picking at the moment!

    260 bhp n/a

Technically you could get that out of it, but not with those mods

    Yawns...

Things I have read/heard on this subject: Yawns provide the deepest circulation of air in the lungs (more so than the panting from being out of puff after running for a bus). Yawns can help equalise pressure in the ears (no not that pressure causes you to yawn, simply a physiological side effect). Yawns can make your eyes water - wtf for I don't know, common fault in this model I guess Some people yawn when nervous, not tired. Yawning being contagious is in some cases thought to be due to a vestigial response to the signal to/from others in a group saying that it is time to sleep/rest. A way of synchronizing sleep patterns in said group But seriously - who knows?
  13. I sneeze when I look at bright lights - always have done. Thats why someone coming the other way with HIDs makes me add a new layer of "anti glare coating" to the inside of my windscreen People always think you are crazy when you mention sneezing in bright light
  14. Ahaa, ok, that clears that up cheers Nic!! p.s. do you do these? ;)
  15. 03 Panther Black Fiesta Ghia 1.4 - yes if you see a mad man in a black fiesta waving at your supe and grinning like an Idiot in the Berkshire area - it may be me!
  16. Without running to the car with a ruler/measure - I am confused I have seen three sets of numbers: Single DIN ISO 7735 (178x53mm) single DIN (180 x 50 mm panel) Single DIN 7.2"X2.11" (~180x53mm) Supposedly ISO 7736/5 (which bleeding one?) (which doesn't quite agree with any of the above lol - well I can't tell without *BUYING* the standard). As DEFI make 52mm single din pods, I thought that it may be possible!? Gah, I love standards Aren't they great? That's why there are so many of them
  17. Still trying to figure out the physics behind that lol!

    Free xbox 360

LMAO, fair enough mate Beers and multiplayer 360 games at yours on weekends then? (*cough* - I mean a good deal for the missus) .

    Free xbox 360

I would say the catch is £40.00/Per Month and a not that great a phone
  20. Your local Toyota garage can usually have them ordered in for you in a few days, I think mine cost about £5 or something similar (maybe less, it was so long ago). It seems that the Jap spec cars have the worst job in removing the screws due to the amount of frickin locktite that those crazy Japanese engineers use!! Yes use the correct screwdriver size, not one that *seems* to fit - you *WILL* round the heads off and that is not nice! Some people find heating the screws up with one of those micro windproof pocket lighter/blow torch thingies helps (not so hot you are burning/bubbling paint though ). Alternatives that have been suggested that I never tried (but some claim work) - wd40 the rubbers, sports tape (or similar) on the rubbers (soft cushioned stuff with sticky one side you can buy at sports shops), turning the radio up ...

    Headlights

Ah yes those are the kits that are sat on the floor waiting to be installed. They look pretty good quality from what I have seen so far, and it was the previous folks good experience with them that made me choose them. P.S. Jon mate, I will get around to lopping those frickin lights out of the car - this week, I'll lob them in a box off to you before the weekend (no rush though as she will be off the road for a while when I do it ).
  22. Stuck at 13st 10lb at the moment due to not being able to go to the gym waiting for this bleeding cold/flu/ebola/hn51 or whatever it is that is refusing to budge to be offed by my slacker immune system!! Hopefully back on track from then on...
